So, I'm curious. What's the allure of the frosted tubing for those that prefer it?
I chose a clear tube, and, as I bring my Lava next to my desk light to admire the awesomeness (doing that a allot-haha), I love the color changes on both top and bottom.
Why a frosted tube that would mute some of that?
Just a matter of your personal likes! For me, I love the frosted
tank, looks great!
Or now...

best bacon EVER. sorry, did not mean to derail this thread.
back to talking and posting pics of these beautiful tanks.......
Bacon, my all time favorite!
Well the shorty dual coils will fit perfect too, I think ppl were saying Madvapes
That's where I got mine! Jon recommended trying those and he was right, they are really good. I'm 3 1/2 weeks with one dual coil 1.5 shortie from MadVapes in my Magma tank. Still going too!
Extra good price there and a tad bit cheaper than MadVapes!
I gotta say I've been creeping around this forum, and I must say this is a great place to be. I don't know any of you guys but I'm ready to work my way in this thing!
Well, from my experience, you've made it to the right place for an awesome beautiful working work of art tank!
My sister-in-law, Bonnie, got the jelly fish. She is really busy with a wedding right now. I know she will post a picture when she gets a chance.
Would really love to see a picture of that tank!
OK, I finally got home and I finally got my lava tank! Thank you for your hard work jonboyusmc!
And now for the tank porn...
Great, you will love it!
AAAHHHH, I just treat people like I want to be treated. Just a little respect and courtesy.
Amen, Boss!!
This is my Night Sky lavatank in 3D.
Take a minute to try this and see it.
NO 3D GLASSES NEEDED. Heres a youtube video for help. This method is 'Crosseyed'.
Perhaps take a step back
Beautiful, whatever way you look at it!
Any one who carry's their tank around and that has ever had problems with the tank slipping up the carto or worried about it.I got a SS C clip and noticed the top of the carto and slid it on and it stopped the tank from slipping up the carto. It you cant notch it you can still slip it on, it helps a little.I carry my tanks in the boat so I take a little extra care in stopping things before they happen. It works great for any one working on the go or outside.hope this helps and good morning Lava Corps
Never had that problem with a Lava Tank, not ever. I often pick my mod up by the tank, I'd only do that with my Lava Tanks. Well, the lava tanks are the only tanks I use now, all the others that I've tried have been put away for (I have no clue) day.
Thank you Boss for let us share your talent for making these works of art and function. You do not know what you are missing till you have one!
That's the truth!
Hello Lavacorps,
I missed by a few seconds on the last sale and was wondering if another is planned anytime soon? I would love to be able to call myself a member of the Lavacorps.
You DO NOT have to own a Lava Tank to be a part of the LavaCorps!
The LavaCorps group IS people NOT TANKS! We are people that love Lava Tanks, we are kind, gentle ('cept tank night, even then we stretch as far as we can given our limitations by the rules) and giving people, it's who we the LavaCorps are, it's that darn simple!
Participate in the threads with us and be socialable, helpful and you are definitely one of us!
Okay, question. You know how the top of the carto tends to stay drier than the bottom with a tank? For me, it makes the flavor duller so I was wondering... if I put a hold near the top and one near the bottom will I manage to get more liquid up at the top thus increasing the flavor? I usually pop the top on the lava and drip into the carto but that kind of defeats the purpose of the lava. I just don't want to flood the carto so thought I'd ask you experienced people first.
I normally use two holes in a carto, one low & one higher. Also, I put fill ports in all my tubes, easy to top off the tank without removing the top! Less wear on the o-ring too!
Good afternoon Lava Corps..the Ban has been lifted...
Heres a picture of my Lava team..
Sweet looking Grasshopper you got there Slot!

Loving my Copper Haze! Trading sure works for a lot of people, seems like many people are getting their wants the easier way, by trading!
I usually carry my Darwin in the inner pocket of my leather jacket. There's a nice site where they sold a bunch of different kind of cases for pvs but I can't remember the name of it.
Sent from my HTC Thunderbolt using Tapatalk
I got a holster when I bought my Darwin from Drew. He showed me that you can put the Darwin in that holster with the tank on and the button doesn't get pressed, but get this, you can press the button without even taking it out of the holster! Works great!
Just a couple of idea's that might help with this odor issue...tho I honestly don't know if they would work or not, but was just thinking....
Maybe try placing the caps in a baggie of baking soda for a day or two? Baking soda absorbs odors, so may help?
Or maybe use some of those denture cleaning tablets, fill a cup with water, drop the cleaning tablets in and then the caps?
Like I said, no idea if it would help, but may be worth trying....at least for Fran...and McVapor, I am sure if you contact Jon, he will work with you, as he is one person that would NEVER rip anyone off!!!!!!
Most definitely, Jon treats people like he wants to be treated, stand up guy for sure!
Please check your introductory post on ivc. I spent a decent amount of time responding to you, including the colors for next sale...
Super bp! Great job with that!
