I'm sending good wishes your way. I hope your step-dad's condition improves soon.Hey everybody. Hope you and yours are well. I was woken up by my little sister about 5pm telling me that my step-dad is in the hospital. She said that he has a bilateral pulmonary embolism and is going to be there for at least a couple of weeks. She also mentioned that the same thing was his mother's cause of death. I'd appreciate any good thoughts sent his way.
I know the feeling. I teach in a community where the power seems to go down every time it rains, lol. I've been doing this long enough that I always have always have alternate methods of presenting the lesson. It's just aggravating when you've put so much time into developing a lesson, then have to resort to alternate means. When I started college 26 years ago to get a degree in teaching, I didn't think I would use or need to know anything about computers. Now if the computers are down and I can't use my Promethean board I wonder how I am going to teach the same lesson.
