How long do the carbide screws last before performance degradation?
As a reference, the saddle valves seem only good for about a dozen punches before it goes south. But...... it was also only $4 bucks.

I'm not concerned about the $40 bucks for a good puncher........ just curious.
Mine's a couple hundred in with no problems. I'm a serial carto changer.

I've had mine for a couple months and it still punches like new.

YIKES!

$40?!?

I can spend a few cents more on each carto, to have the vendor punch 'em for me, and it'll take a while until I've saved up my pennies to pay for that Carto Punch!

I wish the COV one for $14.99 was available, but it seems it's been out of stock for over a month now! How hard is it to get the parts and make those? (I don't mean for ME to make it... I'm lucky if I can make a baloney sandwich and have it come out right... I mean for COV to make it!)

I've been looking for a carto punch for a while now, but just can't bring myself to spend $40! I also haven't had a problem finding pre-punched cartos, so that removes some of the incentive!

Hey... maybe I'll buy a box of 50 Boge cartos, and RENT YOUR carto punch?

How much to rent it for, say... two days? (I may have just come up with a new business concept!! Carto Punch rental!)

I'm not cheap... I'm monetarily efficient.
