Welcome to the lavacorps thread, anglsage. I should warn you that this thread can be very addictive. I only have one lava tank and have only had it since the last sale. The reason I was originally attracted to them was their beauty, and I can tell you that none of the pictures you may have seen of them really do them justice. As gorgeous as the pictures are, they are even more beautiful in person. Aesthetics aside, they also happen to be the easiest tanks to use, imo. I've used many other tanks that function as they are supposed to, but I've had issues with filling them. To prevent leaking or sliding, many manufacturers make the caps fit so tightly on the tubes and cartos, that it is very difficult to fill. I have absolutely no issues with my lava tank. I can fill it in a matter of seconds. The top fits snugly so I don't have to worry about leaking or having it accidentally come off, but for some reason it's very easy to remove when I want to fill it. The tank also vapes flawlessly.
Lava tanks can be difficult to obtain due to the fact that they are individually handmade by an artisan who does this during whatever free time he happens to have. That could be considered a downfall of this tank, but it could also be considered an advantage since it gives you the opportunity to get to know the other lava lovers on the forums. Obtaining your first tank can be a rather daunting and stressful experience, but nothing beats the feeling you get when you finally get to use your tank for the first time!
Good luck on Friday's sale. Hope to see a lot more of you around here.
