They usually sell out in under a minute, but it can take several hours for everyone to find out which, if any, tank they get to purchase. It actually goes by pretty quick.
Do you have the correct thread to watch? Once the pictures are posted at the appropriate time and the sale begins, then you send your email.

Any idea about how many tanks will be available for this sale?
For those of you who have asked how to get a lava tank, the sale takes place here. The link also explains the methods for paying for your tank if you are successful.
A word of warning....these sell out very quickly. Jon will post a picture before the sale. You will want to take a look at the tanks and have your tank choice and 2 alternates picked out beforehand. It is ok to have "any" as your third choice if you are not picky about the color of the tank you want. I advise you to have your e-mail already prepared before the sale starts.
About 10 minutes before the sale you will need to be online and continuously hit F5 to refresh your screen. Please, NO CHIT-CHAT on the thread near sale time because it messes folks up. If you have questions, please ask early...not just before the actual sale. There is another thread for chit-chat on the site where you will be more likely to get answers to questions you have.
Dino (aka strprswpr) will post pictures of the tank on the sale thread which will indicate the sale has officially begun. Once you see the pic posted you will need to immediate hit the send button on your e-mail. Then cross your fingers, sit back, and relax for a while. It can take an hour or more before you finally receive a pm letting you know whether you were the first to request the tank you are wanting. Sale night can be somewhat stressful and nerve wracking, but it's also a lot of fun. If you are lucky, you will be rewarded with what imo is the best tank currently available. Good luck!

Oh My Goodness one of the sweetest, kindest people in the world and I missed her Birthday...
I really do love my Lavatank, and really hope to pick up another!! I wish you all good luck on the sale, and hope that all of the members that do not have one, that they score their first, and hope the sale goes smooth. Jon and Dino run a tight ship, and everything is well organized!!! Good luck again!!!

Also, and this is the weird thing, how much do they cost? The SS tanks seem to be $60 each and to my knowledge didn't sell out…certainly not as quickly. Grimmgreen mentioned paying $50 for his at vape bash…I assume that was without shipping so the normal ones should be $60 as well, right?
The only bad thing is that I'll be at my girlfriend's birthday party while the sale is taking place. Timing it will be a bit weird.

click the word HERE in tigrlilys post mostapha and go there and look at everything ....there is a ton of info there about all the sale stuff! anf GL to you I will be lost in the wilderness camping so I am at a similar disadvantage!
