Proffitt, all Lava tank sales are over on the FB group. I would expect to see a new batch of color tanks within the next few weeks, although this is just me speculating. I think titanium tanks are available for pre-order, but they are expensive. The way sales are done nowadays make it easier to get a tank, however it takes longer. Patience is key!!

Good luck!

Thanks!! I'll keep checking.

Hi Folks,

quick question..anyone out there making replacement glass tubes for a SS Lava?..they're a little longer than regular tubes, so Bedazzleds, for instance, won't work..in lieu of glass, how about just a polycarb replacement for the SS?

Thanks!
For glass, the SS LavaTank should take the same size as the Acrylic LavaTank, but you'll probably want the thick wall, as the SS is so heavy that it's easy to break the glass. The Bedazzles for those are labeled JB or Lava. Now if you're referring the the LavaGen, you can also find those in glass at Bedazzle too. They're labeled as LavaGen. For polycarb, not sure if Jon sells the tubes by themselves.

Thanks Wolf...I'm a bit confused about the materials...I have 2 Lava tanks, a SS and a Lava Ray..bought the SS straight from Jon and the Ray on the classys. are they acrylic or polycarb?..I never actually thought about it..lol..I just know they aren't glass and the tube that came with the SS has become practically opaque from running Tasty Vapor licorice through it for a few months...so I ordered a glass tube from Kathy at Bedazzled (labeled "Lava") assuming it would fit the SS, but it's too short..I had never noticed that the SS and the Ray had different length tubes. I emailed Kathy (kept the tube I ordered and am using it for the Ray) and mentioned this length disparity..she said oh yeah I remember being told that when the SS first came out but had forgotten..

assuming I can't get a glass tube that will fit from Kathy, I was thinking of asking IBTanked if they could make me one in the correct length. ..would you have any other ideas?

thanks for your response Wolf..

The faceted glass tube from Bedazzled fits my ss Jonboy perfectly.

It's my first Bedazzle and Jonboy, so I don't know much about it. I just pm'd Kathy with what I had and that I would like a faceted glass tube and she hooked me up.

well that sure looks like it fits!..the difference in the tube lengths is about 2mm..not much, but enough that the top cap won't seal without pushing the carto out of the bottom a couple of mm's. I think I'll contact Kathy again and see if there's something we can do like what you have there...mighty purty BTW.

motw.much. how are you? :)

Hangin in doing just fine except where is all that $$ I was gonna save vaping?..lol..too many fine things out there..sure has changed a lot from when I started vaping 16 months ago. I just wish all this stuff had been around 20 years ago, I'd have quit smoking then :)

I did get ahold of Kathy, btw, and she is going to make me a tube for the SS Lave with the red dragon from the Welsh flag..maybe this licorice juice will have a more difficult time defacing glass!

Hey everyone:

So I've tried to silica wick and I think I like it the best because it's easy. I've had one problem I'd like to address and see if anyone has any advice. It seems like when the tank is nearly full (about 80%), it seems like the silica wick is overwicking, meaning that it's pulling a lot more liquid in the top chamber than necessary, to the point of leaking through the air hole. Has anyone experienced this? What could I be doing wrong?
