I'm using 2 holes in my new carto, one about a 1/4" up and the other staggered to the left of the first about 3/8" up about 1/2' apart and I'm getting great performance on my new Carto like this.
I have one from 2yrs ago from the old GG tanks that ran a 901 made from metal, I just drilled two more holes in it, now I have one jig set up for 901 Atty's, small Bogee's XL Dual Coil, and on and on, its a good one.
Jon count me in for some of these.

I left the top a little bigger than the bottom....it'll be a little easier to take apart.

It's a turned SS liquinator, I Beleive Strp used a lathe to frost the tank and bevel the end caps.
Yes, you can initially fill them this way and not have much leaking, it's the RE-fill that it leaks everywhere.

I have say....and Chief is a great guy and I'm not knocking him....I tried his method of fill and had a mess as well. I think my method is the cleanest. I've never lost a drop. Sorry Chief.
Wow... So because my experience differs from yours you throw out a rude comment? I filled mine the same way showed in the vid, prior to watching it, and I had no problem. Certainly wasn't difficult. Sorry if that hit a sore spot for you.

Don't feel bad, you are not the first person this member has been rude with on this thread.
No offence taken... I am not sure if you have one of his second run tanks.... Jonboy even states the are looser then the prior batch... It works well with the second batch... That the only version I had. I know that your tanks are much tighter fitting, thus not allowing you to do this method.
