Do you need an adapter to clear the button or is there enough room for the tank without one?

I didn't fill it too full. It's only half way not evening touching the top cap.
I'll try again when till I get it right. But what u mean by bubble is over the punched hole? Isn't bubble coming out from the hole?
I'm using a LR XL carto it the tank! Don't need an adapter if you have XL carto!
If I want to use my Boge's (don't have LR, which is best on the 3.7 GLV Mini) I'll use an adapter, will make it a few cm shorter.

@Grammie - thanks for the info - I think I'm gonna go the super mini route and just rely on my tanks then instead of getting the feeder

I don't think you will be disappointed. If you get the Super Mini and like it, you can buy two of them for the price of one with the sidecar/bottle system.
I think the sidecar for the GLV would be nice if I modded the tank to accept a tube from the 6ml bottle. I just wouldn't want to be the one to put the tiny tube hole in the side of my Lava Tank. You'd have your 3ml with a 6ml backup!

There's a few others this may help as well, so here's a quick pic tutorial on how I do it:
After you're more familiar with how much it will hold you can put in more juice than this
Put the top on but don't push it the whole way down
Flip it over so the air trapped in the tank is over the punched hole
Keep that trapped air over the hole while you push the top back on
By only pushing air into the punched hole, and not more juice, you shouldn't flood the carto and have any leaks
