yea he is now exclusively making them carto tanks but they can still be modded to accept a ce2 using an xl tank with a regular ce2 and a small peice of stainless carto/ ce2 tube inserted in the top cap

u can use xl cartos with the extra protruding out the bottom cap of the tank and the slots cut higher

The tank should come with a carto supplied. You have time to order some spares.

Don't give up that easily. You should be able to use xl's You may have a little more carto sticking out of the bottom, as long as there the same diameter. (I'm guessing) I will try one in mine and try to get pic of it.
