Hey Grammie. Yup, I checked. Should be here tomorrow. I tried to punch a carto and after getting the thing from not rolling around for a 1/2 hour I ended up crushing the tube. I am good with the dremel, not so good with a hammer! lol

if you're gonna slot em, i read that you should dremel down until the metal is paper thin, and then pick it out with a pointy tool so you don't get any shavings inside the carto

I like the punched ones myself they dont beat up the o-rings as much

I would love them too, if I could do it right. Soon as I can get a jig, i'm sure I'll be punching.

i think it was ksmith. he also gave dimensions for the holes and drill bit sizes i think...........waaayyyyyyy back in the thread

Like stprswpr said, anyone that needs any carto's punch, just let me know, send them and I'll punch 'em for you. Have to either tell me what tank/or mark at least one carto where you want it punched!

With XL carto's (using those with the GLVs, no need for an adapter), just punch them way up close to the mouthpiece. I'm finding with my semi-thick juice only one punch works fine. But, I normally punch 2 small holes opposite sides, 1 just a tiny bit higher than the other.

Landlord,,, what's the saying, so simple a caveman can do it,, haha,,, just take a 6" piece of a 2x4 and drill a hole on the side of it so a carto fits in the hole, then another down through the top going into the first hole. Take a nail punch and put it on your belt-sander and sharpen up the punch. Done Deal !!!!
