They cant get me down. I feel how I feel. Jay seemed nice about it and understands. That other guy does not seem like a happy person. I on the other hand am a happy person and I work hard at trying to stay that way. Thanks for your support Vega.

Every time I type the word Vega I smile. Back in the day I owned lots of Chevy Vega's. They looked like little Camaro's to me. I put a Buick V6 in one and a small block chevy in another. I had a lot of fun with them.

I can see jay's perspective to a point, but I dont think a measure of goodwill toward the people waiting over a month for their device would be out of the question. Or to hold off the sale until orders were caught up to his 3-5 day wait. Either way, I think it looks bad on his part, and a number of people may come out of it feeling like they got the finger. But c'est la vie.

I get it Fran, I really do....but if the guy wants to do a sale....when does he start? It seems like he's always behind on orders. I don't know, I guess I see your point....I also know how he feels....It's really hard being in that position. It seems impossible to please everyone....My attitude has become to stop trying and do the best I can.

You do it the way all the other big companies in the world keep people happy when situations like this arrive: flip every order that hasn't shipped when the sale goes live a 5 dollars off your next order coupon, throw in a free box of cartos or a handful of juice, some kind of simple apology door prize. It makes the people that currently feel like theyre getting screwed feel better about it because somebody cares, y'know?

No problem Vegas, and I'll try to catch them for the next round of sigs, thanks. As for the GLV sale, I haven't caught up on the thread but I tend to agree, I think Jay should've gone about it differently. The only communication I've had from them stated multiple times for everyone to bear with them and be patient due to their situation. When I heard they were having a sale, I admit I was a bit put off that they're trying to increase their backlog of orders before their current ones are even caught up. I'm not going to trash them or anything; but it leaves me with a bad impression of dealing with them.
