Hey guys.....I just got my tank an hour ago when I got home....yay.....and I filles the provided carto with Halo juice and then filled up the tank and reassembled. The fit is perfect. I vaped it a few times and it tasted great. Then after about five tokes, the carto started tasting dry. I'm not sure if Halo is thicker than other juices but is it possible that I need another hole punched in the carto to help it wick? Could it be that you need to wait between tokes and therefore cannot chain vape? Or....do you think its just because it is a brand new carto?

I am set at 5V using the provided carto which metered in at 2.8 ohms when I checked it before filling.

The hole punched in the Carto was very small in mine. I had to punch a second larger hole and this worked fine for me. I am vaping 100% VG so I am used to this.

I use an Awl like this.

I got it at HomeDepot a few years ago cheap.
The tip is sharp but widens quick so makes a perfect shallow hole.

I just place the cart in a piece of Steel V Chanel fixed in my vice and whack it twice with a hammer and awl. viola

I start out small on the hole size just in case there are people out there that vape a high PG liquid. You can always make it bigger, but you can never make it smaller.

Ok cool. I have an awl like that. The tip is not as sharp as it once was, but I can sharpen it. Going to empty the tank and make a second hole now. You leaving the rubber tip in the top of the carto or removing it?

I don't think the rubber in the carto maters ether way.

I've been vaping 80%pg/20%vg. I made 2- 3/32" holes in my Boges and it's always perfect.

The one that Jon provided. The second hole I punched is about the diameter of a Tic Tac.....its quite large. I just waited 10 mins before I toked again and its like the carto is dry and ready for a refill. Its a airy dry vape that tastes like carto.

Did you pre-fill the carto? I pre-fill a Boge / IKV carto with a single 3/32" punch. Wicks perfectly.

Yeah, I prefilled with like 30 drops......to the point where a bit of liquid was dripoing out of the battery connector end of the carto.

I don't know??? I've never had any of these problems....I wish I could tell you what was wrong. I'd say grab a Boge and start over.
