Watch what'll happen.....Jon will get mad at me and I'll never get another tank again.:laugh:

I don't think Jon will be mad at you! And if it works out, fine, if it doesn't that's fine too! I think we all appreciate you trying to help out. We'll all be fine with whatever the decision may be.

We can eagerly await the "free for all"!

Ever1ast, thank you for all your help too!

Thanks strprswpr and Ever1ast for doing this!!!

If it works out awesome ... if not, no biggie - we'll just keep stalking :)

Ohhh ... I'm very excited! I don't own any type of tank yet, and after doing research decided that JohnBoy's tanks were the
way to go!
You have made a very wise decision

Right on. Coming up on 22 with the FD. Engine Captain / Medic

Thats awesome - takes some cajones to stick around that long. If the job doesn't get to you, the politics usually do.
Funny thing is I was on our FD channel for 3 hours today and barely had any calls (that's when I was posting in here alot earlier since there was nothing going on) Soon as I turned it over to the next operator, she got a residential & a commercial structure fire back to back. I had to laugh...but only because I wasn't monitoring that channel anymore

I'll try to be a little nicer to my FF's tommorow in your honor lol

EDIT: I just re-read my post and realized how it might sound to someone not exposed to that stuff often---For the record, neither fire turned out to be very serious and there were no injuries. I think Capt Louisville will confirm, public safety personnel have a pretty twisted sense of humor and tend to laugh at stuff deemed innapropriate by most folks

I'm sure they'll appreciate it. I still love the job but it's getting a little tougher to do some of the physical stuff than it used to be. Good thing EMS has become the new fire. My company makes 1200 or so runs/year & like close to 70% are med runs. It's been like a month since I've burned anything.

Ever1ast- To say the sense of humor is "pretty twisted" is being exceptionally kind. I've worked with some folks who should probably not be allowed out in public. That being said, does anybody really care if the guy kicking the door in @ 3am to save your ... from a fire is politically correct?
Thanks for what you do. A good telecommunicator is worth their weight in gold.
