Yes, the lava tanks are another carto tank, the thing people don't realize is this:

There is NO other tank out there built like this tank, it's in a league all of it's own. No one can say it's a "knock off", clearly it is NOT!​

I have one in hand now, so I can say that there is nothing like this tank. I have other tanks but none compare to this one. It's a totally different design. If there's any other tank out there made like these, then I haven't seen it. (Don't want to either!)

Sure, just CRUSH my dreams then!! Given how fast these are flying out the door, my chances of getting one are slim anyway. But, I can still dream of one of these with a pyrex tube and all your pragmatism can't stop me!

Actually your chances of getting one are just as good as anyones. The only thing you can't do is place an order. So, habg in there......you'll get one I'm sure.

McMaster-Carr has some nice SS tubing and it would be very simple to buy a foot of this and cut a couple of tanks, here is one of them and keep clicking and you can even get mirror polished finish if anybody wants to get a piece = McMaster-Carr

They also have Polycarbonate as well just in case you want to cut some exta tanks too here = http://www.mcmaster.com/#type-316-stainless-steel-tubing/=e0akpi


But will never be able to get top & Bottom caps like the man makes that's for sure ;-)
