All the Precise I have/had were the flat top, but, I'm thinking the beveled top will work nice and look nice too!
That's not good news at all....but I found some SS Boges at Smoktec's website......not Smoktech.....this is a company in Florida. Pricing is kinda high though, but GoodP has us spoiled at 5.99.

A band aid with boil eze overnight will bring it to a head. Then a good sharp pointed knife will fix that problem.

I'm no stranger to that concept. I had to cut a piece of my ear off once. What the hell is boil eze?
better question is Why did you have to cut off pieces of your ear? Are you Van Gogh?
Negative. There was an incident involving a cat jumping off my shoulder and partially removing a part of my outer conch. No insurance, no free clinic, no desire to have a piece of my ear hanging off forever. Had a shot of Jameson, grabbed a box cutter, held it under a lighter for a while and cut.
I took the time to take pictures... They're pretty cool to look at now. I was certainly not psychologically sound back then...

i caught this thread up at a good time... boils, infected nails and severed ears
It's fine now, just an odd little dent in the top of that ear. It was not the wisest move back then. I'm still amazed there was no infection or complication involved. It bled, it hurt, it healed and it scarred over.
