Another thing....Your not going to get any leaking where the carto sleeve covers the 306 spacer piece?

As I said, the single sleeve that comes with a 306 will work much better, I kind of wished Emonty didnt post what he did in a way because that is now how I want to do it, nothing against Emonty for thinking and showing the old 306-510 Mod I made a year ago to fit drip tips on a 306 but this tank set up works best with a single tube, so the bottom caps and orings should be designed for either an Iken i06 or a regular 306 for my tank Mod to work best Strpr. I will have your i06 going out in the mail in a little while, I would hang and wait for it, it works better in my opinion, but of course if you want to try the old sleeve mod you can.

So, if he using a standard carto tube over the whole thing what's the need for different sized o rings. It should fit fine the way it is. No?

yes, it will work, however for everyone to have to cut tubes and make sleeve isnt really necessary when the bottom hole & orings can easily be made to fit a 306 so this way people dont have to mod anything and can make there tanks work right out of the box with a 306, kind of just how jons tanks work with the i06 Iken Atty, which works just like it is with a new good oring in the tank. Believe me the modders are already on this making 306 tanks Strpr, its up to Jon what he wants to do, but I think some 306 tanks would be nice to have, its only a slight change in the bottom hole and orings, if not then people will just have to use the sleeve I guess on Jon's tanks for a regular 306 or they can just buy the Iken i06 which works as is.

Thanks for the info MWA, I'm going to try using the O-ring method today. I am a big fan of the 306's. Now I might as well put them and the 306 Carts I have to Tank Use.

Sorry MWA, but as some asked and I had this setup and until the one sleeve comes to market, it is nice for the one's who want to play with it to go ahead, but I agree it should be simple with only one tube for the 306's. The industry will be making them for us and you figured it out!!!! You know...we want to try it now!!!!

someone should make how to vid using standard 306's..so we can play around with it til we can get the i06's..:)

Debb, all you have to do is look at the pics I posted here in this thread a page or two back, it shows a simple regular 306 with a cut piece of 306 tube, then a 510 carto tube,, you just slide the 510 tube over the cut piece of 306 or the whole 306 tube, then drill your holes through both at once, very very simple Mod to make. Although the i06 works as is and making tanks to fit the stock 306 will be much better. I just made a stock 306 set up using a Cisco 306 and it works super, in do time you will see these 306 Tanks hitting the vendors im sure though Jon's are the pretties and nicest ones so hoping he will modify his for the 306 or we can just run with the Iken i06 which is a super Atty !
