@ Fran and Tas - You guys can't be far behind. All I got was a Supermini matte black/no clear with the head matte to match. You guys didn't order any customizations did you?

At Sugar - As you know, You're not the only one. Like Rimp said if you have unusually dry hands, or live in an arid climate, you're much more likely to have issues with the touch-switch. Living in FL where it's always humid, I was fortunate to not have any problems with it. I wish I could pass on a secret that would work for you, but I don't have one. Sad to say that depending on where you live, the season could affect how well it works, but thats just the way it is with that one. Sorry hon

I ordered the same thing as you. On 10/04 I ordered a mini with custom paint and extra tube. That one will take a while.

The Powers that Be feel that strprswpr is assisting in the selling of the tanks. That is not allowed. I guess in this forum the Supplier can't have a Supplier Associate. So it's off to the LavaCorps Vacation Retreat. There's a link around here somewhere or there was. I think it's a few pages back.

Here it is:
LavaCorps Vacation Retreat

I guess I just dont understand why Jon couldn't post his own updates and everybody go along like everything always was, makes absolutely no sense to me what so ever gang, this was a good thing going here, Jon started here on ECF and I really hope he stays here too and continues doing everything like he always has.

As I understand it, Jon doesn't have the time to work his day job, make and polish tanks, order the materials for said tanks, keep the lathe working, spend time with his family and do all the updates here. The size of the batches has doubled and the popularity has expanded exponentially. We 'll just see what happens as time progresses.

Well, her mother is in school right now and as soon as she's done and over with the nclex, we plan to move back to California. Vegas is not the place I plan to rear her. All of my family is out in Cali anyways and the beach is out there so that pretty much is the ticket. I also have a friend who works for Kaiser Permanente HR, so if we move out there, we most likely will have jobs already to boot...

A Fellow Nurse- Give the Cardiac Cath Job a try, I think you might like it. I did it for a couple of years and it wasn't bad.
Yeah California, you won't have any problem getting anything with Kaiser they are always advertising the need for nurses. What part of California are you planning to come back to. I live on the Coast right outside of S.F., 3 blocks from the Pacific Ocean, its nice.

I ordered a mini in Granny Apple Smith Green with head and end caps to match + a clear coat. Maybe the color was more custom than I thought?

Thanks Ever. If I can't get used to it, I will put it in the classies....ironic tho, that I live probably under a hundred miles from where these are made, so the climate is exactly the same as the vendor . He gave me a couple of pointers, but it is still hit and miss. I'll give it a week(maybe).

You know I don't know if it had to be one person or another, it could just be the Moderators scanning the forum. My daughter was a Moderator for a Law School Forum and they were assigned to go through all the threads and look at things that they thought might be something going agaisnt what they thought was improper or people saying things that were agaisnt the rules. She use to say sometimes it would take a while before they got to something but usually they did find it and would come in and supposedly lay down the law/rules of the Forum.

Here are the rules of the sale written by a very good friend of mine, who's name I won't mention.

So here's how it goes.

1- You will see a list of pictures with the new Lava Tanks and color names with numbers assigned to them.
2- Decide....QUICKLY....which ONE you want to buy. Pick 2 alternates just in case your first choice is sold out.

3- PM Jon with your choice....specify whether you want the tank frosted or clear. Also specify if you want a 2.0 or 3.0 Boge included.
DO NOT PM JON BEFORE THE TANKS ARE POSTED

4- Specify if you want a loose or tight fit on the tank....tell Jon so he can send you the appropriate O rings. For the woman I recommend a loose fitting tank.

5- Wait for Jon to PM you back. There is no need to send more than one PM....It won't get you an answer any faster. And don't PM him prior to the release as you will get skipped right over.

6- Cross your fingers, pray....whatever you think might help you get the tank.

If you have any questions....ask them now. Don't wait because they will go fast.

A couple of rules....

1- One Tank per household....we are trying to give everyone a chance to own at least one.

2- If there is any stock leftover after 24 hours you can try for another....NOT BEFORE....Personally I don't think they will last an hour. Please....let's not try to take advantage of Jon's good nature and ask for more than one.

There will always be more sales.

GOOD LUCK

Another Note: If you were on the “Tankless List” for this week you are not eligible to participate in the sale. If you are on the “Tankless List” but your turn is not until future weeks then you can try. If your lucky and you get one you will be removed from the list.

All People who have tanks already can try for a tank on any week. The only people who are excluded from the sale are the 10 people that are picked for the “Tankless List” on that given week.
