i actually used to leave the rubber tip on but found that i got e-nic juice in my mouth from time to time, probably due to some weird condensation effect that would leave the juice on the top. removing it resolved that problem altogether.

the few times i've left mine (Provari) with the tank on it's side, I did flood the carto. However, I have the loose fittings so maybe that's why.

I had the same problem with leaving the white plug in, but I also have the loose fitting o-rings in both of mine and I lay my GLV mini and super mini on their side all the time. I've never had it flood.

thanks for the replies..

I'm planning on leaving the cap on for now, as I do feel it seals better. (I'm not %100 committed to it yet tho)
I prefer to keep my PV on it's side due to ALWAYS knocking it over onto my desk.... I should get one of those caddy deals, I'm done using the roll of TP on my desk.lol

I did try the tank with the cap on and off and really couldn't tell a difference as far as "drag".(the gap between the PV and bottom of the tank is slightly higher.. any higher and I'd do w/o the white cap)
I'll experiment more with it tho.

I'm going to leave it on it's side tonight w/o the white cap..... I'll let you know if I ruin anything valuable.
