well, i have it running now, but one hole is definitely too low
Ya, actually that hole I made is a bit on the large size. I just grabbed a carto and my awl and hammer and did it quickly for the pic. I will say that I'm sure it won't leak though. In fact, like Strpr said, I've never had one that did. Go figure. Also, the holes Jon makes are quite a bit higher up the carto than mine. Mine are 12-13mm from the base. I should receive that Carto Punching Jig I ordered from VIP Vapor Cigs this week. When I do, I'm thinking about making a video review of it. I hate to make videos but it might make sense for this item.

i received mine couple weeks ago and it works like a charm... practically foolproof, just have to measure your carto once and adjust the left screw and then punch it by turning the top one.. you can't see clearly on the pic, but there's the screw is actually tapered slightly and once the tapered edge "lines up" with the bottom lip inside the viewing hole, know that's when to stop.

course, if you think that the hole is too big, then don't screw it all the way down. it's pretty adjustable that way. :)

You mean the screw on top is what actually punches the hole in the carto...Any deformity after it's punched? Where did you get it?

It looks cool, but it's spend. I'm curious to see if it's worth the money.
It is a bit pricey but I couldn't have designed it better if I tried. I am wondering how long the carbide tip will stay sharp and it would be nice if you could buy a replacement screw if or when it gets dull. Being carbide, it should last a long time.
