See.......I put a little liquid on the bottom of the carto ....just above the threads.....then I place the open part of the carto facing down on my countertop......push the botton part of the tank over the threaded part of the cart just past the threads......

That's risky.....the bottom part of the carto is slightly larger than the carto tube....I would be afraid of breaking the bottom cap.

I could really run with this......the sharp part of the tube(the top) never even goes thru the bottom of the tank.......maybe I'm not explaining it well

Do you need some help getting it going.....Have you used the Lava yet......What can I do to help you along. Your method of inserting the carto seems very unorthodox. You should use a drip tip to help guide the carto through.

I would strongly recommend using the drip tip & inserting the carto tip first.

The pen would be to gently remove the bottom cap, rather than using the flange to pry it out.

i know that the p+350 and P+500 are only roughly 15mm difference in height, but dang from that pic they it looks like the p+500 is so much taller! ugh, now i'm unsure as to which one i should purchase (and no, i don't want to get both!... well, not yet anyways...).
