I am good tyleris! How are you doing? Ready for Thanksgiving tomorrow? I know I'm not. First time for me that I have to do all the cooking...LOL. I can not guaranty the turkey nor the ham will come out in one piece...LOL!

Sounds like an adventure, I tend to keep it simple as possible. No fancy stuff. Anyhow, most of my family just wants the desserts! But I didn't bake anything this year, they are getting Sara Lee and Mrs. Smith.

That's awesome tyleris! I'm fixing food for my DH, MIL, FIL, my father, and myself. My brother and his girlfriend called me this afternoon to let me know they can't make it. I got all this food because I thought I was feeding 7 people not 5!!! Oh well more left over turkey sandwiches for me...LOL!

Middle of nowhere
My wife gets into cooking for an army. I've tried to talk to her about it but she insist.
She has been working on tomorrows dinner most of the day. Her mom is setting there and dose not even offer to help. That kinda gets to me. I dare not say a word tho.
I will say that I cook the bird every year and it is a tasty treat too.
We are expecting at least two of her brothers and our son and his girl. Then my daughter always comes and bring something, nobody else brings anything.
I wanted to go to her house this year but I did not want to burden her with the expense as she can't afford it right now.
Okay my somewhat rant is over. Have a good Thanksgiving everyone.

By the way I got my tank today. Looks better than I expected.

Joanr it is going to be an adventure for me. I am not much of a cook! I tend to burn things a lot but everybody wants me to cook. Have they not tasted my horrible cooking enough before to know this is going to be a bad bad thing...LOL!

Nah, you'll do Ok, just follow the instructions on the wrapper that covers the Turkey. I've been doing this for 30+ years and it never turns out the same. Some years better than others, depends on how much Asti Spumante I've downed.

Same thing here, my sons are both working temp jobs and can't afford all the food. Maybe your wife doesn't want any help. I used to shoo my mother out of the kitchen, too many cooks and opinions on how to do things.
Which tank did you get Lowboy?
