I bought a corded one. I heard they're a bit more reliable and higher speed, but not as convenient. I'd like to have one of each.

i used the saddle valve before i got a dremmel and it worked well for me cheap and easy to use! and my fingers are all still ok from either option just sayin...........

The problem is that they always have these awesome things that are made with Dremels, but I'm kind of impatient, and it never turns out like that.

i hear ya. i just think its a good tool to have in the garage, I like to restore cars and will probably use it vs other more bulky tools.

I thought that was you but I wasn't sure. I looked at JB Weld but came across that other one thats made specifically to bond acrylic materials. Says there's no actual adhesive in it, it softens the materials till they chemically bond then it evaporates and they harden together. It might work on Skull's if its a clean break...

If it works like you describe that sounds like a good solution except it might change the o-ring groove (which I think you also mentioned).
