Cat I think you're exactly right.
The OP needs to realize that a) this is the internet...no one is gauranteed a response, b) this thread moves too fast for every post to be commented on, c) People anywhere (internet or elsewhere) are more apt to respond to people they're familiar with than people they're not, and

d)

No, I don't think you're wrong, that's not in question. But, people, specially new people need to try to participate in the chatter a bit more rather than hit and run posting. We're more than likely to recognize who's around quite a bit by how much they post. If there's a question, maybe they should use the Go Advanced and makie some HUGE font and color it so we're likely to see it and respond.
