i am just thinkin with 20 of them if that up if i couldnt get one with 40 odds are with 20 per sale thats pretty much a never - oh well i at least have one i dont like guess thats something.
I'm willing to spend the time, however long it takes to snag another tank. Persistence pays off to those that hang in there!
cmon Lily barely anyone is gonna get a tank on Friday, the odds will be better next sale and with two lathes going that won't be long at all
I've never seen a Lava Tank that I didn't like. Main reason I say that is they just plain work the best and look the best, whatever color they may be.
Lily, as Grammie aptly put it, winners never quit. I'm going to spend a moment on this as I somewhat consider myself an "eternal optimist," and then move on. I hope what I say helps, but if not, that's your own choice. If you feel negatively about something, you will produce negative results!
1 - This batch is only as small as it is due to the fact that there are two needy lists of people. One, the 10 folks who have been waiting patiently for their batch number to come up just so they could own one of these beauties! And second, those who have supported Jon in the past and he (like a good boss does) is not only reimbursing them all, but giving them the pick of the batch. I completely understand. They are going to a worthy cause.
2 - With two lathes running and as hard-working as Jon is, not only will sales be more frequent, but there will be more tanks per batch. This batch is smaller from the get-go, due to the loss of the Genesis and wood tanks. Add in to that the lists of people above, and I'm sure it won't be the happiest sale night ever around here, but it will still be a SALE night, and that is what matters.
If you are diligent, there is undoubtedly a Lava in everyone's future. That, and you couldn't ask for a more helpful group than the Lavacorps. The sheer enormity of the amount of people who have gotten the tanks they want by methods different than just the frenzy, is astounding.
Give credit where credit is due. Patience is a virtue.
Also Lily, if you wanna tell us what tank you did get, I might have a worthy trade for you.
Sorry, I have that cornered already...
I'm sure there will be many black tanks in the future to satisfy you guys.
Summer Dawn, in your banner, you have 3 tanks...what is the one on the far right...the purple looking ming? Do you have a better or more close up pic of it? It looks so pretty! I LOVE PURPLE!

It's actually raspberry pink (so I guess purplish?), maroon, and light pink interspersed with some very sparkly white. It's called Cherry Cheesecake though if you were interested, I believe there are two more in the batch you will be picking from.
I do have my eye on a few...although I can't see the pic all that well. I did go to the IVC page and look at the product that was bought for this run. I have been around here since the first run of these tanks. I actually found and suggested alot of the product from BearWoods that I see Jon using now which makes me so happy. I wanted some more girly colors to choose from. I had sent Jon some images PM'd a few months back and asked if the product from BearWoods would work for the tanks. I was happy to find that it does. I sent him something like 15 or so pics and links to my faves and asked him to make tanks from those colors. He has done that and so much more. Thanks JON!!!!
