Since a few asked I'll just post it here: Glary Utilities - Glary Utilities - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com (Dont download the Pro version, the free one is for home users)

Its free and it'll clean out your temp files, clean up your registry, scan for spyware, etc. If you're not sure what you're doing just use the "1 Click maintenance" and let it repair what it finds. I run that at least once a week

And if you don't do a defrag often (or ever), try this one: Auslogics Disk Defrag - Auslogics Disk Defrag - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com

Another free one. Just start it, click defrag and walk away. Or better yet, start it before you go to bed, and check the "Turn of PC after Defrag" box...just let it run till its done
