The Noalox is to keep smooth threading when putting the top on. It helps prevent crossthreading. You can get it cheap at Lowe's. A good idea to keep some around. Hubby is a mechanic so we have loads or stuff like that. Remember to never force the top on. You'll be getting a fine mod and you will have smooth threading for quite a while.

Mornin Tiff! Ok, last night I filled a tank using a Smok shorty DCC. For some reason it would only fire on my P+ but not my 6V or VV mod. Mad me angry since I wanted to use it at >4.5. Not only that it seemed like it was running on one coil not two. So I may have damaged it when punching, IDK. Think I'll leave those un-tanked from now on. OTOH the Smok 1.7s are a real treat especially since I had to toss yet another 2 Boges 2.0s.
