@case sorry for your troubles. Especially your daughter. RE: the tree, duct tape!! I'm sure you can find green. Get through the weekend. Then throw it all out and get new lights, etc next year.
@fran and others. I may not know mods and can't drip for chit. But, cartos I know! I've never done the spin and never had any troubles.
If your in a hurry, the condom way gets it in faster (uh oh)... But I always felt that I wasted juice (double uh oh! 
). Drip fill has always been my method and works great.
Just wanted to throw out another trick that works really well. And is not as time consuming and you don't need to be as careful.
Take the little nipple thing that is in the batt end of a new carto (I've seen somebody use a round toothpick). Pop the white plug out. Stand the carto upside down and put the nipple in the tube in the middle of the carto. The flat part covers most of the filler but allows juice to seep around it.
Fill it to the brim of the carto and come back in 5 minutes. Then do it again. Works great!!!
Also, I used to do a lot of dark juice. Had the same troubles with clogging. Vape some straight pg through it and it does wonders!

I'm still doing my best at holding down the sofa waiting till the last possable moment so my Wife and I can run around to get everything done in time for Christmas.

Yes, 12-14 was my last day of work this year.
I feel real bad for all that are still working. When my Son was a little guy I wish I could have had time off like this but I never had time left at the end of the year. Now with 25 years in at my job I get a lot of vacation time. Funny part is now my Son has to work because he has no time left at the end of the year. My Wife has never worked so she just looks at me as being in the way. LOL
