My sons have Autism (Asberger's really) and read all the time but can't stand the Nook.

Just editing to add not traumatic or anything. They're both brilliant and get straight a's in school. Absent minded little professors really.
I have the nook.........first edition and it is lovely in the sun. Got the newer lighted one and my eyes hurt reading it.
For an e-reader, I choose the nook. BUT............I still love the feel, smell, touch and sense of how far along I am in a real life bound book. I end up reading the nook and buying the book???? Was suppose to save me money. Come to think of it, so was vaping! I read 2-3 novels a week and chain vape 2 mods at a time............ahem, I am a book nerd and proud of it.
Prayers for Debb and Huffs nephew coming up and continue.

Huff, I can relate. I have grown up with people with disabilities my whole life. My 20 year old brother, Shane, is a middle range functioning Autistic and a real blessing in my life. He functions about the same as a 6 year old child. My youngest brother and I have grown up volunteering for Special Olympics which Shane participates in twice a year and I'm hoping to tie my future career into helping people with disabilities.
