Good morning! wishing everyone a good new years eve. If you are going out, please take extra precautions to stay safe.
after tending bar for 17 years, I choose to say in my own safe home. I've seen too much.

Santos-special roast sounds like a coffee juice! Vendor please? Is it just like a good cup of coffee? My two staple juices I must have around are coffees and menthols.

What I don't understand is that there are many threads on ECF with tight friends that are intimidating to post in. I know there are quite a few that I don't post in because I don't feel comfortable, yet no one calls them hoarders or a clique.
There are weeks between sales....that is the time to do your research on how to participate, not sale night. We just as tense and stressed on sale night as anyone else.
LavaCorps isn't about owning the tank. It's about participating, helping, and caring. Just jump in....if someone doesn't repsond to your first post, try again. We all have lives, familys, and problems too. Your first post may have just been at a bad time for some of us to answer. My biggest reward in being LavaCorps is not having the tank...it's the friends and family I have made here.

Charmed, don't be afraid to post that, hon. No-one intentionally means to be ignore newbies. I got the same treatment on one other thread I used to hang out at as I did when I started here. I did not take it personally. No one KNEW me yet! If you don't keep posting, people can't get to know you. When I started here, I felt the same way as any other newbie. It goes with the territory on ANY tight knit thread. They are all over the forum. This thread is no exception.

see that is what people don't get...you don't have to have a tank to belong here. Just participate. Lots of people come for sale night, score a tank and go and that's okay too.

I know that now, just trying to see the otherside of the problem. EVERY thread has a group of tight knit friends, this is true of every thread, I meant it to not be just here but everywhere on ECF and newbs do not know that.
I am easy going and meant no one person, no one thread, no harm.
PS....do not delete, I wanted a cookie............LOL

So, I know there is a trade thread but for any newbs that scored their first tank last night and maybe didn't get the color they wanted, I have for trade... a pink stone (rhodonite) pawn for trade. So, shoot me a pm and let me know what you got if you want a stone tank! Oh- I know the stone costs more but this would be a straight trade.
