Hello lavacorps!
These pics are killin me!!!!! I need one of these tanks! My provari is on its way and it needs this tank.

A few questions though, has anyone found an alternative tank material that will hold up to known cracking issues with polycarbonate?

JonboyUSMC was telling me PVC, will this hold up?

All I've really heard about is the stainless and glass tubes...don't know about the PVC, yet I think Jon should know...

Evening lavacorps. I hope you all had a wonderful week. I just got home from my trip and had a very special package waiting for me. Of course I had to greet the husband and the dogs before I could get to the package, but I was finally able to open it and get a look at my very first lava tank. It is absolutely gorgeous, so much prettier in person than in the pictures. I can't wait to load it up with my favorite juice! Pics to come tomorrow...

I can't wait until the next sale, and I just hope I am quick enough and lucky enough to get a second tank to add to my collection.

Thank you Jon, this tank is truly a beautiful work of art.

Basically, polycarbonate is a plastic, and this kind of plastic reacts with citrus, cinnamon, vegetable oils (VG), and alot of other stuff. It's called Environmental Stress Cracking (ESC). So it basically is resilient to PG, and juices with artificial flavoring. That's it in a nut-shell.

The list of juices that will crack it is endless, due to the facts above.
