Photoshop is very fun. Can do just about anything to pics with photoshop. I have Photoshop CS5 Extended.
I will do my best, tell them I can't possibly do my job effectively or productively without it. Once they stop laughing, I'll see if I can't weasel it anyway.
I went to school for computer graphics and multimedia design and still can't remember how to use all of the stuff for that damned program. It really is huge. I might still have my text book around here somewhere. Or it might be at Mom's. I dunno. I just got another copy of it a month or so ago. Still trying to get the hang of it again.
I'm a bit jealous. I originally wanted to go to one of the Art Institutes for graphic design, specializing in game design. But my parents paid for the chunk of my schooling not covered by scholarships, and they weren't gonna have that...
LOL yeah i think thats what makes it so fun to play with. Can learn new tricks no matter how long you been using the program.

Well that sucks!!! They should have realized you would be getting into something you would love to do and making good money doing so. It would have been worth it.

Hey guys....this snow killed me. I had some work to do for some Lavacorps that I never got to. I'll try for next weekend. Sorry guys. I spent the weekend in my Bobcat cleaning snow in my condo complex.
I have CS5 as well. Mr. SD bought it for me for Christmas. It takes the complexities right out of graphic design and photo manipulation with stunning results. When I want to do wonky things, I use a lot of freeware. I love Gimp.
I dont have any other programs other than photoshop to mess with photos and create graphics. What other programs do you use? I really need to get a MAC because i know graphics design and a lot of other things are much easier on a MAC.

No reason to be jealous. The school I was going to was a joke. Without getting into some heavy freelancing or being an advertising mastermind, there wasn't enough money in it for me. I made twice the entry salary at the time when I was going to school for it. The dividends just weren't good enough.

I'll be graduating magna cum laude this June. The minor in Japanese wasn't planned on originally. I started school with a double major in pre-law and political science. My parents realized I essentially had no life and allowed me to stick with one major. A great academics counselor I had at the beginning of my sophomore year suggested that I pick up the minor in Japanese with some language and global studies classes so I'd have some downtime, and because I've always wanted to move to Japan. Best decision of my college career.
Yeah i know a girl who does Graphics and web design for a lot of high end companies and she makes bank but i can make just as much bartending if not wayyy more lol. Hell idk how many logos she had me design for the jobs she was working on lol.

I have Photoshop on my Alienware, as well as Gimp and Paint.net, both of which are freeware. On my Mac, I have Photoshop, Stone Studio, Seashore, and iMaginator. I also have Intaglio that I use in conjunction with a drawing tablet.
I'm moving to Orlando this fall and I've decided to pay for law school on my own. I hope to cover it mostly with scholarships and my own funding. If anything's left over, I'll take out one of those dreaded student loans. I'm going to take a year off beforehand and work at Disney World, then take my LSAT's and apply to both Florida A&M and Barry University School of Law.. After twelve months I'll be a Florida resident, and you know what that means.
