actually the whole lavatank thing is very clever make x number of product at a time that is in high demand. you ar enever left with any overhead because you know every last one will go. I admire the marketing strategy in this. No i didn't miss out as i use a Bottom feeding mod and a tank on a bottom feeder is just redundant.

Ahhh, but with supply and demand comes a price. For as high of a demand that there is for these, he could charge quite a bit more for them... (please don't ) But these are price in line with most of the other tanks that are out there. Yeah, I bought a few of the smoketek or madvapes tanks as I think they are a heck of a deal, but it still doesn't stop me from trying for Originality and Quality at a competitive price.

So, there's till hope. I was so unlucky I had a power failure ten seconds before the sale started. I had to call my brother to log out after he sent his PM and send mine for me. His was 1 minute after 10, mine got in 3 minutes after 10. My brother probably still has a shot at one. I probably lost all hope when the power went out. Just super bad luck. If sale had gone on time I would have been able to PM myself.

Just like you, i still haven't received any PM. Good to know I'm not alone.

I spend a bit of every day on this or the vac spot threads and I missed out on 2 sales in a row. One day of stalking does not get you a tank. All it takes is to be here when the sale starts and hope you are fast with your PM. ECF seems to slow down for everyone. Just need to be lucky.

This sale reminds me of the Old Reo Mod's sales thread, Took me 3 tries before I got my Reo.... I think the main difference is since these are only $45 dollars the same people continually buy/collect the tanks.

Plus since they have been through numerous sales they know the tricks of the trade to get their PM's in first.

It's almost like the CGC comics forum when members have sales threads... the first to post "I WANT" buys the comic book.

It's just one of those things..... I can see why some people would be upset though. I don't care but why is the Tankless list closed????

If you have 0 interest in getting a tank, then why are you here??? I put 14-16 hour days in between my day job and building tanks. Then on sale night I spend 3 hours answering PM's, and trying to give people something that they will be happy with after there choices are gone. Now it will take me and my wife 2 days to pack everything and get it headed in the right direction. Also the reason some people have a lot of tanks is because they have been customers since the very beginning. My first batch of tanks I made took 3 weeks to sell out and some of these people bought more than one tank back then. I put a HUGE amount of time and effort into trying to make a quality product. So if you have no interest in what I do, then you can just leave this thread for the people that are interested in it.

U know Ill be honest this whole sale thing seems fishy to me... Ive never tried to get one. Honestly I have 0 interest in getting one...

However how is it that one person can just stalk this thread all day on a friday and be empty handed at the end, while some "Lavacorps" members have 4-8-10-12-20-30 of em??? I kid u not, I have seen a picture on facebook. Some one has 30 THIRTY of them!!! (Honestly I wish I could find it so I could post it, im pretty sure it was posted on Grimmgreen's page. But couldnt find it due to the "New" Facebook)

This guy obviously doesn't know what he is talking about. I have less than 50 posts, just started posting here the other day, and I got my first choice of lavatanks tonight along with a PM from Jon about 15 or 20 minutes after the drop. You need to have a fast internet connection, fast fingers, lots of patience, and some good luck. Cavibird is just being a troll.

You guys rock and I feel like a total turd. I would have sat this one out happily with the run of luck I've had the past two weeks adding to my collection. It's funny, because I was just sitting here thinking I would sit the next one out to hopefully leave a spot open for a tankless and now I'm sorry I didn't sit this one out too. The lavacorps rock, seriously, you rock.
