If you have 0 interest in getting a tank, then why are you here??? I put 14-16 hour days in between my day job and building tanks. Then on sale night I spend 3 hours answering PM's, and trying to give people something that they will be happy with after there choices are gone. Now it will take me and my wife 2 days to pack everything and get it headed in the right direction. Also the reason some people have a lot of tanks is because they have been customers since the very beginning. My first batch of tanks I made took 3 weeks to sell out and some of these people bought more than one tank back then. I put a HUGE amount of time and effort into trying to make a quality product. So if you have no interest in what I do, then you can just leave this thread for the people that are interested in it.

When this thread first started, no one knew about Lava tanks. The "leftovers after 24 hours" rule actually applied. The people who have been here the longest have many more, because they could get more than one in a sale.

Some trade for them, and not just Lavas, but other items too... Like mods.

Your assessment about someone stalking the thread all day and coming away empty handed is bs. 10 tanks go to people who have never had one, and I would guess 50%+ of the remaining tanks go to new people.

LavaCorps members learn the tips and tricks to speedy PM's and participate in EVERY sale. It starts to add up. And the people who got extras in the beginning will obviously have more.

Do more research before you start dropping accusations. It's kind of sad.

Really sad, for someone that has zero interest in a lava tank and must talk about it in chat. Go figure . . .

I wasn't here for the beginning, but I do know that the sales lasted a day or so before they were all gone.

I came in just as the carto tanks came along, hated any kind of ce2 tank, love the heck out of my Lavas!

this is my second attempt at obtaining one of these bueauties....it's not lookin' good this time either
maybe February will be my month! lol

Never give up, I gave up my chance to try for a tank tonight because I'm comfortable with the lava tanks I have. I wanted to give someone that didn't have a lava tank a little better chance of obtaining a tank. I see many many new lava tank owners tonight! That in itself makes my decision not to participate that much better!

I've been a member here for almost 2 years, and I can tell you that anytime there is something very popular, like Jon's Lava tanks, sometimes it takes you 5 tries to get one.

Don't be upset, just be like that little ole ant and keep trying with high hopes and you'll get one!

Never say never, if you give up on something you say you really really wanted and you don't continue to try then to my way of thinking you really didn't want it bad enough.

45 Lavacorps members did not participate in this sale tonight. We organized this weeks ago. We all got together and decided....in secrecy....that we would not participate in tonights sale so some of the not so fortunate people would have a shot.

I wanna thank all of my fellow vapors who helped with this.

Thank you everyone at lavacoprs for giving some of us new guys a crack at own the lavatank! I had the pleasure of checking out Santo's lavatank in person the other day, so I know how awesome these are! I can't wait to throw it on my GLV2-mini when it arrives!

You guys rock and I feel like a total turd. I would have sat this one out happily with the run of luck I've had the past two weeks adding to my collection. It's funny, because I was just sitting here thinking I would sit the next one out to hopefully leave a spot open for a tankless and now I'm sorry I didn't sit this one out too. I think I messed something up and my pm never got there. Not sure how I screwed that one up but I am guessing that is what happened.

Btw, he ( my dog and love of my life) just had major spinal surgery. He's better but it was a nightmare.

Sorry to hear that, OB. I had my dog and best friend put to sleep on Monday due to a ruptured disc that paralyzed him. Couldn't afford the 5000$ surgery, which I would've paid without hesitation if I had it. Hope yours recovers well!
