Wow - last night was something else! I waited up til 2am but fell asleep on my PC, lol!

This was my 3rd sale of having my PM sent within 1 minute of announcement, and Im still tankless. I will not give up.

Has the Brimstone fiasco been sorted out yet? Last I recall, the guy added to the tankless list at the last minute requested the pawn and mfraz got the ming. But then someone at around 1am said he got the ming???

That's the spirit, never give up! Anything worth having is worth working for!

I usually don't get in this but I would consider that to be a nice gesture.
You have to admit there was tanks in this sale that some would have died for but agreed to not participate.
They keep their word as far as I know.
Wait i missed the meeting. Where was it.
Besides what's it to you. I have the right to sell to anyone I choose. It's my stuff and I will determine who gets it. That's if I had something to sell.
I pity Jon for doing this as I know it is a lot of work and very aggravating.
I work in retail and believe me I understand supply and demand.
It's fine if you have enough for everybody but if you run out you got a riot on yours hands and you did something underhanded.
I'll get down off my saopbox now. I got to go to work.
HAVE A GOOD DAY LAVACORPS( whether you have a tank or not)

It really wasn't hard to sit on the sidelines for this sale. I saw many tanks that I would love to own, one in particular struck me so hard that I will be watching for it in another sale. It's just one of those "I have to have one tanks"!

Today I guess I have what you would call a "lava hangover"

I had a ton of fun last night and now I just feel crappy.

Just kidding. sort of :)

Seriously, very happy for those who got them. To those who didn't (myself included), well get me next time.

I can say this and at least make myself feel a little better.

Things are always better when you have to work hard to get them and wait for them.

That is so true! Sorry you didn't get a tank last night but when you do score a tank you will be in vaping bliss! It will surely mean a whole lot more to you that way!

It was fun seeing the newbies get caught up in the excitement of sale night. Everyone should have that experience.

+1000

Once you said you guys didn't participate I was thinking how much fun it would be to just sit on the sidelines and just watch the chaos unfold.

I/We didn't have to come here last night because we weren't trying for a tank. We came here of our own free will to help anyone with questions that we could answer without breaking the rules here at ECF. It feels great being in a place now where I think (after 2.5 years) that I can help someone new, someone new to the Lava Tanks. I hope I have accomplished that and can continue to do that.

Hi peeps...

Just curious, are the Ming Lava Tanks more popular then the Pawns?

I've seen a few WTT ads, with people wanting to trade their Pawn Lava Tanks for Ming... or is it just some people prefer one over the other?

Also, as the first Lava Tanks, as I understand it, were all Pawn, perhaps there are simply fewer of the Mings around?

Does Jon make more Pawn then Ming types?

Still blown away that I was able to score a Lava Tank! Sorry for those who didn't get one, but I'm sure if your patient....

Thanks again to the old-timers who sat this round out. Very nice gesture, that is greatly appreciated!

I'll try to answer with my :2c:

I have one ming, the last tank I scored. I wanted to try it, I did and I found that I really really like the Ming/Vase. It's the only lava tank I have that is made a bit beefier/thicker. All my other lava tanks are the original design and a pawns.

When I first found the lava tanks there were no Mings/Vase.

From the pictures of the tanks for this sale last night, I saw there were a lot more Mings than previous sales. So, I think from that we can all tell that the Mings are really catching on.

Don't need kudos for sittin' out, but thank you just the same. It would have suited me just fine if that had not been mentioned but with the drama last night I can understand why it was mentioned. I/We truly want everyone to score a lava tank that wants a lava tank. We know how well they work and how beautiful they look. They have given me the peace of mind that I don't have to throw away money trying every darn new thing out there.

@ shel: i prefer the old style mings and the new beefy pawns. the mings in general are rather a new creation as they first came out in the lavas late fall.

Blue that pretty blue was my favorite of last nights sale. nice score !

It was my first pick! LOVE YOU GUYS and GALS. Thank you again!

Just got home and caught up on the thread. Last night was a blast, wasn't going to get in on the sale because of my slow internet connection but the closer it got (and having a pep talk with my puter) I dove in.

Didn't get a tank, but I sure got a rush (or maybe that was a hotflash) no, it was a rush I'm sure of it because I was broke out in a cold sweat. Also got to read some very happy posts, I swear I could hear the screams of excitement from the ones that were able to get their tanks.

All in all, it was fantastic and looking forward to the next sale together! :)

Well Grammie you and many other Lavacorps are the reason why I am proud to be part of the corps. Going above and beyond to help the newcomer is the true embodiment of what the corps are. I just showed up about a month ago and jumped in feet 1st with the obligatory how does this all work. I realize now how many times that simple ? gets asked now and every time the corps are there with answers. You made it easy for an outsider like myself to feel at home. This thread is where I now hang my hat. It is the 1st place I go when I wake up and the last thread i read before I go to bed. There are many days when this is the only thread I visit. I am proud to call you all family. Albeit a dysfunctional one but like I said family. Thank you all for you do and even though there are those that take it for granted and don't appreciate it or even realize it for that matter, the people that do get it and do hang around long enough to get to know you all even the slightest it makes a world of difference. We are grateful and it doesn't go unnoticed.

thx pretty blue...i mean big blue
so on a smaller tube mod like the lava those magma's will stick out right?
do you know how much the tanks hold?

claud, you were pretty accurate earlier. The regular Lavatank is 3/4" outside diameter and holds approx. 3ml. The Magma Lavatank is 1" diameter and holds approx. 5ml. The Magma's fit the larger diameter mods like the Silver Bullets, Helix, and some others.

It is interesting how these wonderful items have elicited such emotional responses both positive and negative.

I guess that is a real testament to this product. I think the ECF community for the most part is one of the nicest, most helpful and caring that I have ever been a part of. I have been advised and helped numerous times. I have had a number of members go above and beyond in a way that has actually shocked me. I have appreciated it very much and try to pass it on as much as possible.

At this point, I look forward to the next sale, and a chance at one of these. That and the pictures which I will both enjoy and envy as well :)
