This is kind of cool. Spendy, but useful for inserting cartos and filling those unfortunat tanks that weren't born Lavas.

Got my Black and Teal Lava tank from the trade with Slot today, it's purdy!!! But aren't they all?!?! One thing Jon doesn't do is make an ugly tank!

I topped of the carto. I filled and waited 10 minutes then just checked the ohms on my provari with the tank. The op came on and I just noticed a horrible smell coming from the carto. I thought it may have been not screwed on tight enough so I made it tighter. Tried again and the ao check still showed op. Then I pulled it off and my juice came out. I just hope I didn't mess up anything else. My carto will come Monday I think.

I have to know... I didn't see anyone else ask this. Did you pre-fill your cartomizer and spin it to force the juice down? I see you say that you topped of the carto. If a horrible smell was coming from it, honestly it sounds to me like burning a dry carto. Also, thickness of your juice? Is it a dark juice? And if the answer to either of those is yes, did you add at least a second punch?

Jon did/does great....as always. Again, it was very nice of him to continue with the sale when he didn't have to, all the tanks look great. Goin to order my "white" provari tomorrow. One is too many, a thousand never enough...

Nope it doesn't I think I got a bad carto. I tighten it to see if that was the problem, and when I went to loosen it all my juice fell out. I am not going to test anything else. The little I checked to check the ohm smelled horrible and burnt. I guess I just have to wait till I get more boge cart. Oh well kinda ...... now. I wasted perfectly good juice

Haven't read all of the previous posts (got home very late!), but...

I did receive my Lava Tank, and LOVE IT!

However, I filled it with juice, filled the carto (I thought!), and tried to vape....

Got some smoke/vape coming from the bottom of the Tank... uh oh....

Next thing I know, nothing! NO vape, nada! I tried it on my ProVari, then on my VV Box mod...

Anyways, luckily, I had one last Boge carto... stuck that in, and now my new, first Lava Tank, Black with Gold Matrix, is vaping wonderfully! Really performs fantastic, and I love the Ming tip!

Now I have to go and read all of the previous posts, and see everyone elses latest acquisitions!

If it makes you feel any better, I believe my carto was also bad, or, I simply didn't fill it with enough juice in the carto, and it burned out.

I DID fill the carto, and waited for the juice to seep down, then filled it some more, and waited. I also filled the tank so the bottom of the carto would get juice from the punched hole.

Bottom line, first time I tried to vape on my Lava Tank, there was a puff of vapor from the BOTTOM of the tank, then nothing! It would NOT fire after that.

Luckily for me, I had ONE spare Boge 3.0, which I put in and my tank is now working great!

I know it's a drag, to get such a beautiful tank (thanks, Jon!) and not be able to use it, but maybe knowing someone else had a very similar problem will help, somewhat. I don't think it was necessarily anything you or I did wrong....I think either these cartos were bad, or they really need a while to get fully soaked before you try and use 'em.

I can sympathize. It's like waiting weeks for a new mod, and when it finally arrives, you discover that the batteries you've had don't fit!
