The AW's have more current available then the ultrafire's do and that's what you want with low resistance.

Can you great peeps recommend where I should order some Boge cartos for my tank?

The carto that came with it burned out before I even used it (probably my fault, I must have not soaked the carto enough), and now my last Boge 3.0 just went out! Sadness....

I have ordered some from Mom and Pop Vape shop, but wondering if anyone has a favorite vendor to get pre-punched cartos that work well with the tanks?

I think most of us punch our own Shel, so not ignoring your question...just don't know the best place to buy them pre-punched.

Have to agree with tyleris12. I punch my own. If you buy pre-punched they are generally punched (or slotted) for that vendor's tank and may not line up well with the Lava. That's a good reason to invest in your own punch. I went ahead and got the VIP punch. If you're using more that one type of tank, you can adjust the punch easily.

Well now I feel like I got ripped off. I'm not going to have a centerpiece from here on out . Whats making the smell? is it a finish on the tank? is the the frosted glass? is it the carto?

Send Jon your tank and I'll refund your money. I don't know why you feel you got RIPPED OFF. Customer service is second to none when it comes to Jon. I don't think you can find a single customer of Jon's that is not 100% satisfied. He always makes it right.

Thanks guys I think the answer just slapped me in the face, these dc cartos I'm using are made for smoktech tanks so they have that flat ridge at the bottom. Needles to say the draw is to tight that's number one. Number two is the fact that the batteries are brand new, meaning first charge cycle, I'm just being a little impatient. I'll give them a couple more days and see what happens. If they don't get a little better I'll move on.

I tried to find a place that sells device to punch cartos, and the only place I found that had 'em in stock was Clouds of Vapor, and they were $40! Not trying to be cheap, but $40 for a carto punch? Even those are now out of stock!

They also have one for $15, but again, out of stock! (Man... perhaps I should go into the "Carto Punch" business???)

Can anyone suggest where to buy a Carto Punch? Even Saim-Mods, out of England is out of them!

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

lol..we used to play WoW. And then we reclaimed our lives

No offense to gamers, but man, we got sucked into that stuff.

Finally had to give up the games myself. Miss them once in awhile.
Played Ultima Online, EverQuest, Dark Age of Camelot, Shadowbane, and WoW.
Multiple max level chars in all of them. Heck in the 5 years I played EQ just my main char had 18 months logged in. How I would like to have all those years back I spent glued to those games. Prob is that when you play them, your there. Nothing else matters.

You can get a 1/4 inch self tapping saddle valve from home depot or lowes for under $10.00.

The only negative thing about those is after 40 punches or so (and that's a high estimate), the punch starts going south and slides to the side of the carto. I went through three before I said enough and got the VIP Vapor Cig carto punch. Wish I would have done that sooner because I spent almost as much on the saddle valves. I've had my carto punch since November, perfect punch every time.

allot of the times i just use a dry wall screw and slide an 18guage needle into the center. place the carto in an old book to keep it still

Yes, I have one of those as well...and yes, the saddle valve will not last as long, but it is a relatively inexpensive way to start punching cartos...now.
