Also just found a matching tank (slightly uneven, looks like cut by hand or with hand tool, and two extra red o-rings).
That is an oldie....I never had one of those. You should trade that for a new Lava....lol

Wow, when did you get yours? I've got it halfway off (the tank, dammit) but I don't want to use brute force, I need to be gentle with it. (yes, still the tank) It's getting kind of old. (okay, that one was deliberately ambiguous)
oh so maybe ill just put it aside then i suppose and not worry about using it LOL............I seem to have lost the crowbar!

All kidding aside, that was one of the reasons I liked Jon's tanks so much. They were all super tight and really well built. I guess we never realized they didn't have to be. It was those damn CE2's. I hated them....still do. I sometimes wonder if these tanks were never made I probably would've gone back to smoking.
You know, I kind of wish there was some sort of a vaping museum...I would donate my firsts to it.

By the time you pointed me to Jon's tanks grasshopper I was soooo sick of dripping into a carto every couple of minutes I was ready to give up too

yay i got it apart and put a new ce2 into it and got it working ...........took me going back and seeing the thing about using the rubber grippy thingy you use to open jars up and i managed to wiggle it out! No jaws of life needed but maybe some newer o-rings for a slightly looser top might be in order!

I was lucky enuf to have dino point me to the lava thread early in my vaping career. Was already tired of fiddling with my ce2 tank at the time. And topping off cartos wasn't something I enjoyed either

I still use my Mercury....It was one of the first 4 I ordered from Jon....By the way....I was able to order 4 at one time back then....lol
