Welcome to the eGo-T owner's club :)

Take care of it, and it will last quite a while.

From one of my other posts:

Here are my eGo-T tips and tricks:

1 - Never use a juice with more than 30% VG
2 - Stay away from Darker juices (They'll work, but you'll have to clean your atty every other day)
3 - Clean your atty at LEAST once a week, I prefer the soda bottle method - Here.
4 - Make sure your wick is in the right position. If your first 3-4 hard primer puffs (without pressing the button) don't give you a nice vape, use a paperclip to push the wick down inside the needle about 1mm, do this very gently or you can damage your atty.
5 - Make sure your tank is FULLY seated, there should be NO gap between the cone and edge of the tank.
6 - After inserting the tank, rotate the tank inside the atty at least 45 degrees, some people spin it around a few times. The final orientation of the tank in the atomizer doesn't really matter.

All of these have become part of the routine, and I have no problems with my unit at all.

On a side note, you should also check to see if you have the v1 or v2 atomizer. The v1 had a blunt needle inside, and is slightly thinner than the v2. The v2 has the pointed needle and is thicker, for better wicking. V1 atomizers have been known to have issues.

I got my Ego t in the mail a couple of days ago. First ever pv. Yew yew! I love it. Can't see myself going back 2 analogs ever. I have been vaping all day and my first tank cartridge is still half full. The cartridges hold around 1.2ml Skeeterkck. Mine cost 62 bucks for the starter kit. I think I better start shopping around for different e-liquids though because I ain't to impressed with what I ordered. All good though, I will be fun trying out all the goodies out there.

I had a little bit of a learning curve when first got it, I kept on having it leak. I was so worried that I had a bad one or somethi g. But after readi g up on it I realized I had been doing a few things wrong si ce I first got it.
I had been vaping 100% PG, found out it should be 70%PG/30%VG, per the manufacturer, that's what they made it for.
I was draw g on it way too hard, and flooding the atty, draiing the tank in a few minutes. That happened several times till I got the drag just right. Too hard and it would flood, too soft and it wouldn't wick. I finally got it just right.
Also I downed out that I shouldn't take off the cap on the end cap, so we found a syringe from a dentist it's used for cleaning. Where the needle would usually be there is a piece of curved plastic. It fits just perfectly in the hole that had been punctured in the cart by the atomizer.
Its early, and I think that's about it, except to say that I LOVE this thing. Absolutely love it. I haven't had it leak since those first few days.
Congratulations and good luck.

I've used 100% VG occasionally with no problems. 100% PG sometimes floods at the end of the cart. 70/30 pg/vg works fine as well as 50/50. Use darker juices sparingly as they may contain sugary ingredients that foul the atty.

There are flats on the side of the cart that need to be lined up with the flats on the atty interior surface to get the draw right. suction aids in feeding juice. Draw too hard and you may feed juice too fast and flood with certain thinner juices.

Overall, the tank is a trouble free system. If you hear gurgling, pop the tank and blow a drop out of the atty and reinsert. I only have to do this occasionally and usually when I refill.

Hey there. Why should you not juice with more than 30% VG? Is that in general or just for a tank system?

It's more a recommendation than a must, but it only really applies to the eGo-T / clones. They can have a hard time wicking juice with more than 30% VG in it, because it's too thick.

Check out my blog (link in sig) for some more tips and tricks with the eGo-T
