Got my Delta II and RBA head yesterday, and have spent the day with it, I thought I'd share my thoughts and opinions.
I've tested it with kanthal, and Ni200 in both the RBA deck and in the LVC heads, and tested using both a DNA40 and IPV3 with wattage ranging from 20w to 60w
and temperature ranges from 350° to 450°.

Now right out of the box, heavy, heavy, heavy smell of machine oil, in fact I was beginning wonder after several soap and water scrubbings and vodka baths, boilings and ultrasonic washes if I would ever get the smell and taste out.

With a new LVC head, because the one that came pre-installed still smells like machine oil. I primed it filled the tank. put it together and gave it a try.
Thick cloud decent throat hit, but alas just like every other Atlantis, and the Kanger subtank muted flavor :( adjusted air flow from wide open to damn near closed, tried 5watt increments from 20 watts to 60 watts on the IPV3 still muted flavor.

Unpackaged the RBA head
Immediately I as disappointment at the size of the build deck, even though it has way more air flow that a kayfun it is the same exact size as a kayfun, in fact a the lower chimney barrel will screw right onto a kayfun deck. I was hoping for more of a Lemo size deck, but figured what the heck and gave it a try.
Again very thick clouds, decent throat hit, but the same muted flavor, again regardless to air flow, or power applied.

Mind you in neither case did I ever get a dry hit, even while chain vaping at higher wattages and clouds for days but not the flavor I'm accustomed to from my Lemos

I repeated the above on the DNA40 just for argument sake, with my customary twisted 28/30ga build that I put in all my Lemo's on both the RBA deck and in an LVC head, BTW the LVC heads are a snap to build once you get them apart, if you ever built a chimney build this will be easy.
Even with the build and wicking replaced the flavor is still muted.

Now I have tried my best to get to like clearomizers, but never could get a great flavor vape out of any of them and hoped when these sub ohm tanks came out that it would change, but this does not seem to be the case at least with me, yes they are capable of producing thick clouds, but at the expense of flavor.

I'm a flavor guy first and foremost, clouds alone mean nothing to me without warm juicy flavor, so I have come to conclusion that clearomizers, even the ones with RBA attachment heads just isn't for me, and the king of all tanks for flavor RBA or not is still the Lemo.

But if you are one that is not into rebuilding and you are in the market for a good subtank clearomizer I still recommend the Delta II over Atlantis and the Kanger subtank, for build quality and air flow the Delta II wins ..... when you finally get the machine oil out of it.

That being said keep your eye out in the For Sale thread for a very slightly used, de-oiled Delta II with RBA deck in the near future if you are in the market.

Wow, this tank is good. I find the flavor to be superior to the Subtank and Atlantis. I would overall give the Subtank mini the overall nod but strictly for flavor the delta II's #1. (they all produce more than enough vapor)

The reason why I give the Subtank Mini the overall win is because of how well it works with the RTA Deck. It's amazing how good it is and unlike the original Subtank, which sux in RTA mode, you don't have to unscrew anything but the coil nor do you need to drain the juice. (Plus the Mini comes with an extra tank and the RTA deck is included) I love both these tanks and I'm glad I have all three. The Atlantis is no slouch but it's 3rd place amongst these.

ETA

I've been vaping the D II at 29w on the powerful mode on the SX Mini and it vapes perfectly, for me, at that wattage.

~sigh~ My Delta 2 came today. I had it for all of 2 hours before the wife confiscated it for her own use. I knew I should not have let her try it....

While I had it, I compared it side by side with the Kanger Subtank Mini. From the short time I had it I found that the flavor was about the same as the Subtank Mini. Wife says it is better. Airflow on the Delta is absolutely better. Clouds are bigger due to that alone. Delta has a minus though. That tiny itty bitty gap you have to fill through, and it holds 3.5 ml of juice vs the Subtank Mini's 4.5 ml and super easy fill. Subtank Mini comes apart easier and comes with an RBA deck and two coils. Delta 2 doesn't come apart for cleaning, and comes with two 0.5 ohm coils. The Delta 2's RBA deck is separate and another 14 bucks.

Pure Performance goes to the Delta
Fill & Maintenance goes to the Subtank Mini
Included options with the base tank goes to the Subtank Mini
Price to the Subtank Mini assuming the RBA deck is a requirement.

edit to add: Smoke Xpro M65 @ 27 watts, also, the vape IS cooler with the Delta 2.

I feel your pain man. My wife does that to me all the time. I also agree with your tank analysis. Spot on my friend.

I've had mine for a week now, same coil....vapes like a new coil. Hopefully this will be the first coil I can truly keep using for a solid two weeks.

Got the Subtank Nano....LOVE it...but flavor and vapor still go to the Delta II. 35 watts is all I need to get warm, rich flavor and dense vapor.

I agree. I love the Nano and mini for simplicity but the Delta II at 40 watts is so amazing.

Well I got an IStick 30 watt with a Kanger Sub Tank Nano and I love it but today I picked up the Delta II and well... a little under whelmed so far. I am vaping it at 25 watts and its just not the experience I was hoping and told it was going to be. My guess is I need a higher wattage device. I am going to get the IStick 50W aand try again. Don't get me wrong its really nice to complain is just crazy but I think at lower watts the nano performs better. Plus the Delta II is harder to clean. :2c:

You are correct. At lower watts the SUBTANK hits better. The DeltaII comes alive at 35watts and up.. 40 watts with air wide open is my personal preference. I should have a First look video tomorrow night on the iStick 50w paired with the Delta II.

The Goblin blows them both away.

how i love vapors and their opinions-to me , the goblin is just a smaller deck than the silverplay but otherwise they vape the same-and the lemo is so poorly designed with the air flow control and edges you could shave with in a pinch. at least there seems to be a consensus that this delta 2 kicks rear at higher watts. definitely a player in the subohm clearo wars.....that must be a white flag coming from the atlantis camp. boy, did aspire miss the boat on the atlantis- time for them to go back to the drawing board.....

I thought one could adjust AF on the Lemo all the way down, almost to Kayfun-like level...

Not quite. I've managed to get it very low, but still it's too airy for my shallow lungs. I even find the KF airy, so much I stuff a piece of paper loosely into the air intake. My daily vape are Nautis and the Vapeonly BCC in my avatar (yes, it still exists).

I can't agree but I can agree to disagree. And yea the Delta is the flavor champ IMO.

Aspire needs to fix that coil by getting that ceramic crap out of it and using organic cotton like everyone else. I think the Atlantis is a good tank but it's on my shelf 'til they fix the coil.

Now I understand. To me the Kayfuns are just a tad too restrictive.
