I can only speak to the 1.5 Claptons....while they are a tighter draw, I found them to be completely lacking in flavor. I hate to admit it, but I am not sold on these latest coils from joyetech. Even when primed appropriately, they burn out fast and lack in the flavor department....at least that has been my experience.

Thanks - I guess I'll give one a try but with my expectations suitably low.. can't quite tell how I feel about the flavour with the stock coil yet - suspect I've burnt it a bit. Presumably five drops isn't enough.

Yes, I actually have both the 1 ohm and the 1.5 ohm coils on the way from FT (the 0.6 ohm are a bit too powerful and airy for me).

I'm a MTL Tootle Puffer...and use 1.2Ω to 1.8Ω coils in most of my (at home) toppers.

But...I've found the AIO with its 0.6Ω coils to be pretty enjoyable for out and about.

[I mean...c'mon...we're talking about a $15 tank/battery combo that is so small I sometimes lose it in my pants pocket!!!]

However...I would be quite interested in your thoughts after you've tried the 1Ω/1.5Ω coils in your AIO.

I'll try and post my thoughts once the coils arrive. In the meantime I also recently got an Innokin T18. Out of the box it has a more or less perfect draw and power (for me). Also the drip tip is the same diameter as a cigarette. Hopefully the new coils will make the AIO just as good.

Well tao...I have been "watching" (but not seen/held) the Innokin T18...and the Eleaf iJust Start Plus...but...

My next tank/battery combo purchase will probably be the (recently announced) Kanger EVOD Pro Starter Kit...

Its main attractions (for me)...4.0ml. tank and replaceable 18650...:headbang:

[If you're new to vaping and don't have any 18650's or a charging station...you could just buy one 18650 (eg. Samsung 30Q) and recharge it in the Mod with its USB port.]

Yes I noticed that one too - looks good - like a big AIO but with the replaceable battery. However the width of the driptip (particularly the interior width) suggests the draw probably won't be tight enough for my preferences. Personally I don't mind a small tank and battery - I just buy two of the devices - and don't mind a non-replaceable battery as once it's shot the rest of the device probably is too. Been vaping for a year, but not into DTL or complication, hence my interest in the AIO/T18 etc. Hopefully my AIO coils will arrive soon and I can try them.

Need some help guys,

I am an MTL Vaper, Tried sub-ohms and hated it. Too much vape, too harsh and did not like it.
I stated a while back with Johnson Greek VEA, then moved to Joytech Ecom-C, then went to Sub-ohms with different manufactures and was never really happy.
From my basic understanding MTL coils should be from 1.5 ohms to 2.5 ohms.
Now the AIO comes with a 0.6 Ohm coil?? Which is not an MTL Coil or am I wrong?
Also when it comes to juice, will it work with thin light juice or does it have to be high VG juice.
Since sub ohms work well with High VG and leak with Low VG ?
also the oils that i have now are all rated 6mg Nicotine.. will it be too harsh
Your help is appreciated
Thanks

Mtl is about airflow. Particularly on regulated devices resistance doesn't matter (other than lower resistance coils generally being made with thicker wire, requiring more power to heat up), the power applied does. However, I believe the AIO is an unregulated device so the coil resistance should directly affect the power and heat. I'm not sure what's going on there.

The .6 ohm coil is an odd beast....it is a mix, it has the draw of a restricted DTL.
If you prefer MTL vaping, there are coils made for the Cubis that will work well for you, like the 1.5 ohm clapton coil.

Well...you're probably correct about the DT interior width...but...at many sites the "Kanger EVOD PRO Starter Kit" is listed, instead, as the "Kanger EVOD PRO MTL System" (for the same Kit).

And...the sites that carry it usually state something along the lines of..."a specialized Kanger system designed for Mouth To Lung (MTL) style"...

I can let you know when I get one...but...I'm waiting for the 1.0 ohm NiChrome CLOCC coils that it uses to show up for sale...(I can't see buying a device without at least a few 5-packs of its coils to use)...

gazz...I'm a confirmed MTL (low Wattage, high Ω's) vaper. I have no interest in huge clouds...and never did DTL (Direct To Lung) hits when I was an analog smoker.

I use the 1.5Ω coils in my Cubis's (with my VW Mods) and get a quite satisfying vape.

But...although you're right about MTL coils usually being 1.5Ω-2.5Ω...the 0.6Ω coils in the AIO give a pretty enjoyable MTL vape. (I'd guess it has something to do with its fixed voltage battery.)

As for juices (I use Derall for their great flavors)...I only use 50PG/50VG or 30PG/70VG (depending on the flavor, sales, etc.).

Both "work" with the AIO (and neither leak from it)...

I was used to using 12mg in my in my bottom single/double coil clearomizers.

When I started to use the AIO (and Cubis)...I found I had to go to 6mg...to avoid nausea, etc.

Good point USMC...

If one is not happy with the 0.6Ω or the 1.5Ω coils...there are at least seven different (NON-TC) Cubis coils s/he can try in the AIO...

Thanks a million Guys, really appreciate all the help. I went ahead and got the AIO, the 0.6ohm works, a little harsh on .6mg but works well. I ordered the 1.5 ohm coils and will be trying those as well. I think i will keep a mix of 0.6 and 1.5 ohms and use them depending on the mg and type of oil i am using. but all in all i am very satisfied. Thanks again for all the help.

I'm wondering if any differences between the vaping of the 0.6Ω and 1.5Ω in the AIO (with its fixed voltage battery) may be due to the 0.6Ω being Stainless Steel vs. the 1.5Ω being Kanthal???
