Just got mine today and burnt the first coil already. :( Wondering if the 1.5 coils will work with this device?

I'm thinking from web searching that 1.0 ohm is the highest I can go. Just want to make sure I order the right ones.

I should think it'll fire much higher than 1.0, but I never checked.

Hope so... I've got a pack of the 1.5 Claptons to try after this rba's installed coil. :p

I almost got the 1.5 coils and the Cubis tank just in case it wouldn't work in the ego, but decided didn't want to spend all that just for trying to get my ego to work. So bummed now to have to wait until next week sometime to try it again. I usually don't care for lower coils because I tried the 1.2 coil on my Nautilus mini and it was way to hot, thinking just not good for the mini because of the airflow.

Well I've given up on horizontal coils in the RBA. Last night I built a 3mm .6 ohm coil with 26g SS. This time I raised it a bit higher hoping the airflow would hit the coil still using just the insulator and not the screw, it seems to short and strip easily. Very low vapor and it starts burning the cotton after a few hits. So I'll take my chances with the vertical, the one that came with it is still in good condition. Eventually I'll experiment with different coil sizes and whether or not the screw is needed for it. Still a great vape when the RBA is working good.

I used the screw, need good connections for TC vaping. This works for me.

24 gauge titanium, 6 wraps on 3mm rod, approx. .20 ohms. KGD cotton. On most of my tanks and mods with similar builds I find I run mods at approx. 35 watts, and around 470F. Next build I will switch the cotton to rayon, to get the most flavor possible. Don't like the vertical build, changing just the wick only, far too much work to me. Good luck!

I agree vertical builds are a pain. The AIO doesn't use TC so I assume you are building for the Cubis therefore using the spare shaft and getting decent airflow.

It looks like my electric toothbrush.

How do you clean the tank between flavors? I assume you can't wash is without destroying the battery.

I clean it out the same way I clean out my eGrip tank. I recommend taping over the charging port to prevent water from going inside of it. Easy way to cover it up and remove after you're done.

I have some Clapton coils coming in today that I will be trying with the AIO. Also have some 1.0 SS coming this week. I'm pretty sure I burnt my coils that came with the kit with my 70/30pg juice and air wide open with big tokes. I took a small bottle and put half my juice, and half PG to thin it out to try. I just want to get the thing going and see if I like it. Anyone know what my tester juice ratio is now? For the life of me I just can't figure it out.

If anyone is interested.... I started using the 1.5 Clapton coil on the AIO and it is working great. My hope is starting to be restored to this little device.
How does it compare to the SS coils in terms of flavor and vapor production? Does it have a tight draw to it? Hopefully it it being only 1.5 the coils will last longer and won't drink up too much juice :D
