Ah send them to me already! I will rewick some for you and send them back. I cant taste the SS in mine at all, i even use a type A atty in my ego c now because i get good consistent vapor and flavor.

I have atties over 2 months old, and id rather one of them than a nylon out of the blister pack

It certainly could be that I'm just used to the flavor, but honestly, if it works for me.... then it's working ;)

If you want to make a trade, I'd be open to that, and in your favor. I'm not sure I see how the SS wick makes that much of a difference given that the coil is wrapped around the same fibers, though. I think it'd probably make as much of a difference if I just found the right consistency of liquid for the device that it never burned the fibers.

I understand that you're happy with your setup and I'm not knocking that. Just saying I think maybe my taste buds are different. But PM me if you want to make a trade. I have around 100 atomizers -- half knock-offs and half official.

I did not mean any negative vibes to anyone. Like most of us, I have tired numerous devices and juices. Not all match up. There is a balance of vape device, juice, and overall quality of both aforementioned. The perfect juice for an eRoll is not the same for a big old variable voltage vaporizer... Same with nic strength.

For now, 25mg nic Vermillion River Kentucky Applewood and the eRoll are preferable over my regular pack of smokes. I not going to lie, it took a great while to find this balance.........

Exactly. I've been through so many devices and so many liquids.. it's nearly a miracle that I stuck it out to find a combination that worked -- and frankly, the credit goes to the NJOY King for getting me back on the straight and narrow.

I'm just not sure I understand why people are so opposed to throwing away $30 of tiny parts each month? If it's the eco thing, FWIW, I recycle everything I can, have all LED bulbs in my house, etc etc.. Have gone to great lengths to be earth-friendly. I assure you I was much worse as a smoker than I am now, even if I do send all of these parts to the landfill.

The coil isnt wrapped around anything, its just a coil in a ceramic seat. The wick just sits on it. So the SS removes any fiber from the device. I dont really want to deal with knockoffs but if you want PM me ill give you my address. Im not going to rewick 50 atomizers but ill do a couple and you can tell me how you like them.

Wait a minute.. I'm not doubting you, but I've popped open like 50 of these things. Yes, the coil is wrapped around some fibers. At least, all of mine are. The ceramic part is the basin it sits in. But the coil is wrapped around some fibers, which I suspect are the same fibers as the wick itself.

Yours really are just wound metal around nothing??

edit: I don't have a macro lens.. I have some macro rings though and I'll see if I can get a good shot for you. I swear though, they've all been wound around a wick.

Hmm, if there was something there ive melted it completely out over the past few months... I just cracked one, there may be a wick in there, but ive ran carts dry and and gotten a dry burn flavor, and i fill, and its fine

I dont know of a flavor you cant use in an eroll? I use Cinnamon and have used a ton of others and no issue

The thread on flavors that crack, etc. plastic tanks mention a whole bunch - I assumed those apply to the eRoll. Mt Baker's Green Apple is the only one I can think of right now. Bedtime, more tomorrow :)

The eroll tank doesn't crack or melt, use it with any flavor

Plus they're pretty cheap anyway..

But man, I'm having a helluva time getting a macro shot for you right now in low light. Just pop open an atty -- the coil is wound around fibers. If it isn't for yours, then that may be the cause of the diversity here.

Yes, The coil is wrapped around fibers too. They just don't extend out the ends like the ones in atomizers. By the time you kill the coil they are a little, brittle stick.
VC, If you have recoiled one with nothing in it, I would like to hear about it.

Heh idk my coils do have black in the middle but its not brittle and fibers aren't visible, but a dead wick may be in there. Point being I can't taste SS, dry burns are no issue, and I have a pretty fresh atty in the mix and my old ones vape just as well. I'm lost as to how anyone kills coils in a week, I have a coil that's pushing 50ml of cook without a hitch. The outside of the coil has a very thin black coat, no gunk or brittle spots

That's what I'm saying though. I haven't killed a coil -- ever. They just taste funky to me after a few days.

No I think you're right, but my coil wick is completely coated, I won't have a chance to macro till tomorrow night but I'll show you. I love these atties tho, I'm curious how long I can keep one going before I feel its not up to par

Ok. Pop a new one and have a look. The wire is bound around a wick.

That said, if you're happy, I'm not arguing with you. Just saying that I'm happier when I replace them more frequently.

If you want to re-wick a few for me, like I said... I have nearly 100 of these things. I'll make it worth your while. I'd toss most of these in the garbage anyway if they didn't wick well after a simple cleaning. But I suspect I just have different tastes than you (not a bad thing, just different strokes...)
