In any case the Innokin device is very different. In order to do TC with Kanthal they will have the temperature sensor in the atty itself. So it is not just a mod, it is a mod with special TC
tanks - the first is the iSub TC. This means it will only detect temperature with their special
tank and their special coil heads. It does not seem to be rebuildable, at least not yet.
What we don't know yet is whether it will do standard TC with Ni200 and Titanium in the normal way, with normal attys. Probably it will.
It's an interesting development in a new direction. If they, or anyone, can get it to work with rebuildable coils it could be awesome - the most logical thing was always to have a temp sensor actually next to the coil, it's a question of how well it can be made to work.
And the other advantage is that it opens up a new data/power connection to the atty, which could be used for many things.
But I don't think any of this 'takes a dump' on the Joyetech device - it's a new technology which will have its own limitations, and won't be out for a little while longer. The Joyetech will work well with Ni200 and Titanium, and is cheap, so it's a good device to get now while we wait to see what the new sensor-in-
tank system turns out to be. And I don't think the Innokin will even be comparable for a while longer, until it works with not only coil heads but rebuildable coils as well.
