the iTC didn't even release there design yet, they are just taking a dump on the evic release. if you want to wait 2 more months for them, believe me there will be a V2 of the evic shortly after, it is a cycle. Just choose what you like and wait until you really like something else following technology is a ....h

In any case the Innokin device is very different. In order to do TC with Kanthal they will have the temperature sensor in the atty itself. So it is not just a mod, it is a mod with special TC tanks - the first is the iSub TC. This means it will only detect temperature with their special tank and their special coil heads. It does not seem to be rebuildable, at least not yet.

What we don't know yet is whether it will do standard TC with Ni200 and Titanium in the normal way, with normal attys. Probably it will.

It's an interesting development in a new direction. If they, or anyone, can get it to work with rebuildable coils it could be awesome - the most logical thing was always to have a temp sensor actually next to the coil, it's a question of how well it can be made to work.

And the other advantage is that it opens up a new data/power connection to the atty, which could be used for many things.

But I don't think any of this 'takes a dump' on the Joyetech device - it's a new technology which will have its own limitations, and won't be out for a little while longer. The Joyetech will work well with Ni200 and Titanium, and is cheap, so it's a good device to get now while we wait to see what the new sensor-in-tank system turns out to be. And I don't think the Innokin will even be comparable for a while longer, until it works with not only coil heads but rebuildable coils as well.

I think the message was all in context. The conversation leading up to my comment was about preorders... I don't think anyone else was assuming those were in stock as they haven't been released yet. You could pretty much say "Not yet they don't" to most of those comments. Anyways, take it how you will, I'm just tappin my foot til the 15th.

I'm puffing on my evic VT from Heavens Gifts, came with the ego mega one tank. Using the Ni coil and it is working perfectly. The controls took a few tries to get right, but they are fairly simple to master, just different. Also tried it with some kanthral in my Orchid and it performed flawlessly.
