I hear that.... Plus before I checkout I always search for active coupons.....
every dollar counts in this rough economy. By rough I mean too many cool toys coming out
Oh absolutely, I'm the cheapest random spender ever. I dropped $70 on a mod I truly don't need, and ton of juice, but I just gotta save a couple bucks lol.

Got mine today and I love it. Haven't played yet with temp control but it's a big step up from my istick 30w. Here it is with Starre Freemax tan. Vapes great with coffee and looks great with my car :)

That does totally look orange, sexy either way I love it! The tank looks pretty solid on there too. My subtanks should look pretty good.
Never understood why they choose "racing yellow" for the name of that color. When it was always orange to begin with even when the photos leaked on the webz . Thats ok tho!!! I wanted an orange/black mod to begin with.

Yeah but lots of sites have pics that will get any customers lost

Their pics start as dark gold, then light orange-yellow, then orange, then racing/bright yellow

it's funny and I kinda was jacked for yellow
:(

Do you guys know if you can do software updates via the USB as well as charging? The fact that you can't adjust the watts down sounds very annoying since I am constantly dialing down my power. Also these work in pass through mode right? And do you guys know of any websites in the US that have the mod only in stock? VapeNW has it for $55 but it is not in stock:(

I don't imagine needing to adjust power up or down very much if using TC mode
Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping.
True, Im still not convinced I will be completely converted to TC but then again I have yet to try it, it could be game changing. Any idea if this will be user upgradable like the yihi chips?

I think the dry hit issue I was getting is because of the tank and the minuscule wick holes on the coil. I just tried vaping it with my Subtank Mini with the nickel coil and it vapes great. Set at 440 degrees, 37 watts, the mod automatically picked up the coil as 0.16 ohms. I took an extra long hit, the wattage dropped down to fluctuate between 17 and 20 watts when the temp protection kicked in and no burnt taste at all. It performed identical to what I am getting on the rDNA40. I'm getting more and more impressed with this mod. Add in the fact that you have a 5000 mah battery I don't think I would have any problem in vaping this thing all day long. With the rDNA40, if I just bring it alone with me, I can kill the battery in easily 5 or 6 hours. Luckily the zip charging allows me to fully charge it in about an hour and a half.

The only thing I don't like about this thing is when I click the fire button three times to go into the menu and then switch to adjust the wattage, I can only adjust the wattage up. If I want to lower the wattage, I have to adjust it up all the way to 60 watts, and then it starts back at 30 watts.

@jseah, are you saying that the lowest wattage that it will allow you to vape, on your particularTC set-up, is 30 watts?

No clue :p
I'm already sold on TC and I haven't even tried it yet :p
The idea of no dry hits is real appealing

I just emailed joyetech, so I will let you know when I hear back from them. With the quality of sub ohm tanks that are out now I never get dry hits anyway but with my drippers TC would be awesome, I could finally let my friends play with my drippers without constantly worrying that they will burn my cotton.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::p:p

Sidenote: I've been vaping on this all day. With the ego Mega and the subtank mini. Crazy enuff....I prefer the vapor output of the mega and the taste of the subtank. Go figure.
That's cool to hear! I'm overly excited for the mod and definitely interested in trying a different tank for the first time in a long time. I hope you and Tyrion have some interesting scenes tomorrow night.

I believe thats the minimum wattage used in TC mode only. Much like the preheat of the dna 40 its gonna juice it up that much to get the coil going. If I were I dial down this rDNA in my hand it'll spike up to 39.9w just to heat the coil up enough. So to me it makes sense that'll be the minimum and from there if it needs to dial it back reaching your temp limit.
