"This is NOT a china mod... this is a mod from AREA 51.... beware it will talk back.....[emoji38][emoji38][emoji38]"

Anyone decoded the message yet?

My Morse is rusty but I think it's saying:

you love joye, you will only buy joye, joye is superior. You love joye...

... Or something like that. :D

Wait... Checking

No no... On the USB side you can hear the current thing but if you turn the mod to the opposite side and a little lower, you clearly hear a fast paced clock like 5 times a second for 4 minutes

I hear the both the ticking and the beeping/ buzzing Morse code thing in kanthal mode.. I'm sure we are talking about the same noises. I just now noticed the beep noise(which I heard when i got it) is a random series of pulse/beep noises.

But now its back to a solid ringing no morse code now.. Must have completed the frequency test.

Ok i discovered something very concerning with my VT. With the two derringers i have built with nickel... one 28 gauge single coil and one 30 gauge dual both at .10-.13 depending on temp.... they are constantly receiving power even when "off" and are very warm borderline hot to the touch when sitting dormant!

I was looking at my atty after taking a drag the other night... saw some wisps of vapor still coming off the coils as i was about to add some juice. I blew the trace vapor away... but to my surprise it continued to slowly (just barely visible) produce the faintest vapor without pressing the fire button. I then decided to wait and continue to blow on (cool) the coils to see what would happen... nothing... they remained at a constant "barely-on" state. I took my finger to the coils quickly and it was very warm/hot too much so that if i were to have kept it there it would have been painful.

I ask that you all try this... take a look at your nickel builds when the device is still on but in between vapes... are your coils "very warm" signifying that there is some power constantly running through them even when "off".

Weird stuff.
I put a dual Ti coil dripper on and it won't stay at room temp, but it's not hot by any stretch. maybe a little warm. Heat gun said like 90 degrees, whatever that's worth. But thanks for forcing me to get my dripper out to play with!

It is SO weird to drip with TC. I never bothered with my DNA, it just wasn't enough power to make it worth fooling with (and my ADV tank is fantastic, so it lives on my Flask most of the time) That little dude in the back of my head saying "watch out for that dry hit" has taken a permanent vacation!

There must be something wrong with my ears because I don't hear any noises coming from my VT in Ti or Power mode during or after vaping. I'm using 28g titanium dual coils at .38 resistance, 480F and 40 watts on my Aeolus. TC seems to be working fine but I don't hear anything. :?:

Got my orange 'yellow' evic-vt from vapenw today, just got the express kit, as happy with my subtanks, and reports are not glowing for the tank that comes with the evic.

Seems some people having problems with the temp mode of the mod, this is my 4th TC mod, and just not got into the TC myself, am running a Ni200 coil with my subtank on my IPV4, and even though I think the flavor is slightly better, it is not enough to sell me on TC, so will continue with my kanthal.

Love the look of this mod, and it feels really well made for the price :)

Hahaha I went out for a bit and come back to see all this talk making us think we're crazy. The clicks and buzzing are normal. You all made me chuckle a bit.

Yeah, I cant hear anything either. My wife said she could hear all kinds of things going on in there. She actually asked me if it had a motor in it!

(Noticed the one that German took apart was unmarked, possible early release before the right batteries were in... Hopes)

I'll be taking mine apart soon to add the padding for the screen board and batteries. The lack there of is why my istick 50 screen broke on a hard drop. 2-3 more strips would have protected it.

Could be an age thing if the frequency is high enough. Not saying you are old @thayamax

I don't hear anything either, in any mode...assumed it was because of my age...
