mine is also version 1.18
and serial # T06014
seen several pages back, someone claiming 20 clicks got them nothing...
so assuming it is a new version, wonder what serial # it was ?
trying to get a feel for when they converted from 1.18 to 1.19 (serial # wise)...

Put some blue orings in the subtank that I had laying around & they're almost a perfect match to the racing stripe.

Those aren't serial #'s, they are batch numbers. Gives the same end result you all are looking for though.

regardless , our two numbers were 979 apart

so you clk 20 times , and could not get a v 1.18 to display ?
(took me about 5-6 times the first time I tried it)
I have L0603x where 10/20 clicks wont show the firmware version, received after 'that' restocking of most sellers happened.
I recall in one of the threads someone contacting joyetech asking, numerously, if they are fixing/upgrading the firmware when it was claimed the production stopped for a while.
Joyetech kept replying there is no new firmware update, and after they resumed production where sellers received the new stock thats where i presume the new revision (1.9) is circulated.

Mine is 1.19. I believe Joyetch updated the firmware during the production stop they had (a month ago?).
Oh, and F06006 on mine. The number on the top, right? Between the wheel and the 510.

or did they change the prefix to "L"
Not a typo. Its a L - no clue what its indicative of but it has no firmware show feature, received very recent
Do you mean you see the firmware version? Mine doesnt.
Wonder if they did another update.. oh well..
I sold my used 1.18 version Evic for $75 before prices drop. I'll wait on an upgradable version or may try the Mini. I've decided it's better not to jump on the low pre-order price deals and wait until beta testing is over. You usually get a better price later and get improved versions.
