Thanks for saving me some time (which I have little of :D ) and giving me a preview prior to receiving both of my orders :D

One question: This might not be useful at the moment, but since you have it apart can you try sticking a syringe through the battery connector end and see if it will make it to the filler with no problems?

Again not sure if it is necessary for that to be able to happen, but who knows what Ideas I get when I receive mine

Thanks for all of your efforts..

Yes.. I believe it's possible with an 18g or smaller syringe.

I had the same thought after pulling the thing apart.

Additionally.. I think a 510 atomizer will fit in this thing. Just think of the possibilities.

However... be careful with the needle, the way the coil is situated you could put the needle through the coil and damage the coil.

Thanks,,

hmm 510 atty? you are not meaning the whole tube right?.. makes me wonder if a 306 exposed atty would work... but if so it might just end up turning into a 3 piece model :p... we'll see.. I mean I haven't even had a chance to try them as they are intended to be used yet .. :D I mean mods usually happen when you come across a problem :D

You missed the point...

The 510 atty can be pulled from it's metal sleeve, and inserted into the carto tube.

This would result in a hybrid, which was serviceable.

Would it be possible to fill the 510 carto using the condom-filling method, rather than having to take the two tops off?

No... doesn't look to be feasible.

They aren't simple tubes like run-of-the-mill cartomizers. So using the condom fill method wouldn't work due to the shape of the ends of the unit. The battery end is of course irregular, and the mouth piece end would simply push the juice into space meant to protect the user form sucking juice into their mouth.

The only option is using the fill port.

I wonder if the sleeve would fit over a 306 atty. Similar design, same thread?

It's possible.

I've run out of steam working on these and I'm taking a break. I do have a couple of 306 atties coming in next week.

If someone else doesn't do it by then, I might go ahead and attempt the mod.

When I purchased these cartomizers I was having problems with my 510 atomizers popping. Like 1 blew every day for a week.

Any way, it was the idea that I could pick up 5 cartomizers w/atties for less than the price of 1 atomizer. The cartomizers are very good.
But they can be used as a stand alone atty as well, using the tube from a 510, it takes a bit of finagling but once i figured out how to do it, they work very nicely for dripping. I don't have any 306 drip tip or carts to try on it, they might be perfect for all I know.
i haven't used them long enough to comment on how long they last. I seem to struggle with sweet juices and failing atomizers.
The atomizer has an abundance of wicking but no bridge, which performs very consistently.

Yup... I wouldn't call it the holy grail... but it's "This Week's Holy Grail".

Something better will come along.
