Juice flavor and question about nic level

I finally found a flavor I like. Turns out that even though I love caramel, chocolate and graham crackers in real food I hate them in juices. But, I don't really like fruits in foods, I thought it was the flavor but after trying the juices I realized I love the flavor... its the textures I don't like. So Peach is my new favorite juice.

I'm having an issue right now though where my local Vale shop only had the 24mg of nicotine for peach. I'm finding my mouth is dry but more so, my throat is killing me if I steady Vape, which I tend to do while driving, watching TV or reading. I didn't have the sore throat with the 18 or 11mg juices.

Every time I talk to the shop owner he doesn't answer my question about what the make up of the liquid is. PG or VG, percentages, etc. Not because he's hiding anything but because I talk to him through emails and inundate him with questions about other things and he just seems to leave this one unanswered. I'd ask in person but I'm disabled, no car, and so my son has been my errand boy to go pick up my supplies. I will try again with asking but in the mean time, can the higher nicotine be why my throat hurts?

Many vendors don't tell their PG/VG ratios simply because many don't just use PG & VG. Some use distilled water, saline solution etc - none of which are bad (they are actually used in many blends), so telling you exactly what's in there would be giving away their "recipe" which is normally a "trade secret" among vendors.

If they are only carrying Peach in 24mg, perhaps ask if he would be willing to create a 11-18mg blend for you. If you're a frequent customer, I don't see why this would be an issue. Even if you're not, this would be a perfect time to earn your business more than ever.

If you weren't a big-time smoker (2-3 packs a day), 24mg is probably going to be overkill for you and will lead to a dry and irritated throat. Even if you were, if it's causing problems, step down. There's no reason not to enjoy your vape and plenty of vendors offer peach flavors, but it does take a little trial and error to find the one that's best for you, in the event your local dealer won't help.

Hey Kim! In my experience with B&M's most of their juice is a 50/50 blend. Sorry, but it shouldn't be that hard to get an answer out if them. The 24mg is probably wayyyy too much throat hit for you. If they have some in a lower nic you could mix it to cut down on the nic some. Or you could cut it with some pg or vg without nic but it would dilute the flavor of course.

And you're not strange. I was the same way! Things I hate are delicious as a vape & some of the things I love to eat I'm not too fond of vaping. Crazy isn't it! Lol!

My first vaping experience was with a 24mg juice (Blu disposables) and I got sore throats all the time. Switched to 18mg when I bought some real juice, and didn't have sore throats but couldn't sleep. Now at 12mg and 6mg, and no sore throats or sleep issues. I haven't noticed any PG/VG sensitivity issues, so I have to attribute the sore throats to the massive (for me, anyway) nic content of the Blus. With that said, lots of juice makers use the same artificial flavorings, so I bet it would be easy for you to find some lower nic peach juice that doesn't bother your throat. I'm not into the fruit flavored juices, but I'm sure someone else here will have some suggestions!

Thanks for the replies...

He uses a generic company that is in a blue box labeled E-Liquid. He doesn't make the liquid himself so I highly doubt he'd do any mixing himself. I've been lowering it myself by cutting it with the liquids i have. It happens that I'm low on cash and the only stuff I have left is the Menthol and the peach and the Menthol is also 24. I found 18mg was perfect. The 11mg was too low with the first batch of flavors I got. He just buys the stuff online and keeps the stock. I would buy it online myself but again, I'm low on cash. I also usually need it immediately and until I get a bit of an extra stockpile I'm going to have to go with what he has in stock, so like be before, I have to go with the 24mg if that's all he had.
