TPA/TFA is harder to work with because the flavoring strength is all over the map. One flavoring might work great at less than 1% while the next will need 25%. It can be trying to find the level that works and as such a number of mixes will just throw up their hands and state they "suck" rather than admit a personal failure of finding the levels. (and with levels that vary that much, who can blame them?)
FA tobaccos are even more difficult in my experience, so there are more difficult ones out there.
Compare to CAP's where the vast majority is good to go between 10-15%. Or the Polish line where 2-5% will be the range for the majority.
Finding the right flavor level is the single most difficult thing in mixing so I usually recommend CAP's for new mixers and Danny has been recommending the Polish stuff to new mixers. Narrow ranges mean quicker good results and happier new mixers.
